Love these shoes, picture of my daughters old pair. There’s a new pair somewhere as well :-) Converse are so comfortable and so versatile- we wear them with absolutely everything from sports gear to dresses. The pair in the picture may look trashed but a quick tumble in the washing machine and it’s surprising how clean they will come. Washed and worn to death but still going strong.

I’ve probably had dozens of pairs of Converse over the last 20 years. Both high tops and low tops. My favorite by far are my white hello kitty ones. Although these are very cute, they do run narrow and have extremely flat bottoms. So I need to wear arch inserts with these. Since they run narrow you may need to order half a size up. (Please make sure you not MENS vs WOMENS sizing before ordering!!) Chuck’s always look good when they are dirty and dingy, but if you ever plan on running them through the wash, you should probably let them air dry. And if you’re one that does run them to the laundry, make sure that you size up to give them room for shrinkage.

I love converse and it’s always been a classic sneaker in my closet but I find the production to have dropped. The back of the shoe bends in and looks very awkward now, the older converses used to stay in place well and would bend according to your ankles but the new ones these days completely bends in. I noticed this happens with several of their shoes now. Except for the hypebeast looking ones. Maybe the hypebeast looking ones don’t because of higher production with them.

I love these sneakers! I have grown up wearing converse But then, after my middle school years, I stopped wearing them. I just recently got back into wearing them because I was looking for a good flat toed shoe to lift with, and I don’t know why I stopped wearing them. Are use these shoes to lift weights with as well as dress up or dress down an outfit. I can wear these with a dress and make the outfit more casual instead of wearing fancy heels and it could be a casual picnic outfit. These shoes can honestly be used for any outfit from working out to wearing jeans and a T-shirt and also you can wear these shoes with a dress. I I love these shoes more than vans, because they look better in my opinion and they make your feet not look as big.

Mine are not clean so I wont be showing a picture😅but i love them so much I think they look better styled when worn out. They go with basically every outfit. They do last long mine haven’t ripped anything. Definitely will buy a new black pair. I have dark green ones and those are so cute ad well. I love converse.

Favorite sneakers. I’ve been wearing them for like 10+ years and cannot get enough. I have so many colors but I think the grey is my favorite. I always reach for them when I’m wearing cuffed jeans or even jean shorts. They’re comfy and long lasting/good quality. I’ve worn the regular kind before but I strongly prefer the high tops over the originals

New lining, and soles wear quickly

Classic Chucks have a new inner fabric. It's softer, but I question whether it breathes as well as the original canvas. Yes - canvas can get wet easily and that's not good, but I'll wait and see if the new liner material breathes as well in normal use. Also, I continue to buy classic Chucks, but the heels in particular wear out way too fast. Some people might like that very broken in look, but it certainly cuts the useful life of the shoes and any cushioning when walking. The soles should be of a sturdier rubber, but this has always been a shortcoming. The shoes are originally meant for indoor court use (they're original basketball shoes) and they wear so quickly on concrete sidewalks.

Not what I expected

Being 77 years young, I remember when Converse All Stars were the shoe of choice. A substantial shoe capable of living up to the demands of an intense high school basketball game.The 2024 version resembles the 1965 version only in looks. There's nothing to this shoe. A thin canvas membrane with no cushioning whatsoever. When they improve this shoe, I'll be the first in line to buy it, but until then, I'm not giving it another thought. I guess I'm looking for the "Restomod" version...

WARDROBE STAPLE PIECE

The first pair of converse i had were a pair of hand me downs from my two older sisters. They were beaten down and ripped, but I still wore them everyday! These are the first pair of new converse I've ever bought, and there is a world of a difference wearing a pair of your own shoes for the first time! I love the green high tops, they're so much fun, and they add a fun pop of color to all my neutral outfits! I can't wait to save up and add more colors to my wardrobe!
