OMG…I love these shoes! Instantly brought me back to my emo days in high school, which sadly I have grown out of as I have gotten older. The first time lacing these shoes up took a bit of time and a few tries to get it right, but once they were done WOW! These fit like the classic converse shoes, which is a half size small, and are just as comfortable and trendy as I remember. No major breaking in time required and they get even with each wear. I love how they can dress up a pair of shorts & shirt combo or dress down a fancier dress all while making a forty year old mom look hip and cool. My son even commented on how “awesome” they were! Makes me miss the days of jamming out in my car to some 90s rock!

So, I don't leave reviews too often, but I wanted to add something for the tall, plump peeps with big feet! They fit wonderfully, perfectly. I'm a 5'10, plus sized woman who happens to wear size 13 shoes. (11 in mens). I know.... I wish I was a lil bit taller. I wish I was a baller! But! I had no problem with fitting these shoes around my calf. They were actually a bit roomy around my ankle. The tongue of the shoes was wide enough. The zippers were a little stiff, but work well. I had plenty of laces left to hang down the shoes stylishly. So, they do increase the calf size based upon the size of your feet. Try them out. That being said, I do feel the stitching could have been better. But I love these shoes and cannot wait to style them and wear them. Pros-1. These shoes are incredibly comfortable! As soon as I received them, I wore them around my house for hours. The fabric seems to be the traditional converse shoe material which is quite cozy.2. The design is incredibly unique. I couldn't wait to show my family these shoes.3. There is a long zipper up the back of the shoe so you only need to lace them up once, what a time saver!Cons-1. I haven't seen people wearing this kind of style in person. I like how comfortable they are though. I’m sure as I break them in more they will just get more comfortable. I do like how the zipper is along the backside of the leg as opposed to the side of the calf. it makes it a little easier to get in and out of. Being a shorter woman I do appreciate the lift that the shoes give me but more importantly I appreciate that making it a little more similar to platform shoes, though not as tall. Unfortunately, I am not , very stable if I try to wear heels so having an option that gives me added heights, but doesn’t sacrifice stability is very appealing. The zipper along the back is covered by fabric so I think you could wear with thin socks/leggings and the zipper would not be irritating. I think you could still have a range of calf sizes due to a large tongue that can cover your leg underneath the laces. I have an average size calf and the tongue had to be tucked in a good amount for myself. I am still figuring out how to keep the tongue in place closer to the top of the shoe. There are two loops on the tongue to help keep them straight but they do move around slightly. I think black would be easier to keep clean but adding a shoe protectant could help with the white. These shoes were such a hit! I paired these white XX Hi Converse shoes with white biker shorts and a anime shirt for a family party. Everyone asked me where I got them because they wanted them too!These are very stylish shoes, however it did take some time to lace them up. Fortunately, the zipper on the back makes it easy for me to put them on and take them off. The sizing is true to Converse size, however, if you have bigger calves, this may not work for you. You can adjust the laces for more wiggle room if necessary, but if your calves are exceptionally large, there will be gaps in the front.Overall, I recommend these shoes for people between the ages of 10-40! They are so youthful and trendy!
These boots are a lot of fun! They're super comfortable (as I've found all Chucks to be) and they seem well put together. They seem to be true to size and I LOVE the back zipper - no way do I want to re-lace these puppies. My only gripe is that the fabric is flimsy so they slouch a bit and won't stay up perfectly, as I'd like them to, on my legs.The setup was a bit time consuming because they're so tall. I think it took me about 30 minutes to lace them up perfectly, only to find I missed a loop at the bottom.Overall, I don't love these boots, but I do like them a lot. They'll be perfect to wear to a concert, or paired up with a mini skirt. When the summer heat dies down, I'll be able to wear these more often, and I'm surely going to turn heads.
