I have purchased and worn many pairs of Converse. The biggest issue that I've always had with them is that they're tight on my feet. I have wide feet and would often need to keep the laces loose, or do an open lacing on the bottom to keep them comfortable.These pair, however, are wide enough that they didn't need any sort of modification to be comfortable.The design and fabric remain true to the original. The canvas is flexible, comfortable, and doesn't need to be broken in. The insole is a little cushy, but not so much that I can't to squats or deadlifts in them if I needed.The tongue often falls to the side throughout the day and needs to be readjusted. The chuck wide shoe is a classic shoe that can worn with any outfit. The shoes very comfortably and has plenty of room in the wide fit. Love these shoes and have had them forever. Ordered a new pair a half size down as recommended, but they were way too small! I recommend ordering half a size up unless you have tiny toes. The small toe box is what causes problems with the sizing - the rest of the shoe works just fine half a size down, but it will pinch your toes if you don't order up in my experience.
