I ordered these sneaker boots in a size 10.5 and I love the little extra room in the front of the sneaker. I love the Zipper because I laced them up first to get the room I needed, because of my muscular calves: then I zipped them up. This way I only have to zip and unzip to wear them. I ordered the Black and White pair. They will be great for school as a substitute teacher especially during recess as to my regular boots. This shoe as far as feel and craftsmanship is classic. The super high top is a little off. It's for a smaller calf and doesn't look too cool having to unzip the back. As a man wearing the shoe it's a little uncomfortable in the leg. But....... my 16 year old daughter thought they were amazing. They fit properly and look great. The stability is agreed upon by us both. Laces go all the way up and there's a really cool zipper all the way up the back. Even the white shoe is nice to look at but you don't fear getting it dirty. We both agree it's really comfortable and really durably made. I love the shoe for her but don't think many men would actually fit it over a certain weight without it looking somewhat awkward in the front. I’m sure as I break them in more they will just get more comfortable. I have an average size calf and the tongue had to be tucked in a good amount for myself. I am still figuring out how to keep the tongue in place closer to the top of the shoe. There are two loops on the tongue to help keep them straight but they do move around slightly. I think black would be easier to keep clean but adding a shoe protectant could help with the white. These shoes were such a hit! I paired these white XX Hi Converse shoes with white biker shorts and a anime shirt for a family party. Everyone asked me where I got them because they wanted them too!These are very stylish shoes, however it did take some time to lace them up. Fortunately, the zipper on the back makes it easy for me to put them on and take them off. The sizing is true to Converse size, however, if you have bigger calves, this may not work for you. You can adjust the laces for more wiggle room if necessary, but if your calves are exceptionally large, there will be gaps in the front.Overall, I recommend these shoes for people between the ages of 10-40! They are so youthful and trendy!

I didn’t feel like they were too heavy to wear at all and could definitely wear them all day long. The fit on the shoe, the sole part was a little bit big, I got the 6.5/8.5 and should have probably sized down at least that half but the fact that it’s a boot minimizes any discomfort due to that.The design and the fabric feel very close to what the original Chucks are like. Like all Chucks they feel like they’ll take a beating and last forever.
