More Energy Efficient Extend battery life by using less power. Operating at just 1.2V compared to 1.5V for standard DDR3 memory, Crucial DDR4 SODIMMs consume 20% less voltage than standard DDR3 technology. Crucial DDR4 SODIMMs also contain other efficiency features, for an overall power reduction of up to 40% More Density Pack more memory into your laptop than ever before. Crucial DDR4 SODIMMs debut in densities up to 8GB, and as DDR4 technology develops, modules are projected to hit 32GB — allowing you to install twice as much memory as you could in a DDR3 system. Since laptops only have 1-2 memory slots, high-density Crucial DDR4 SODIMMs allow you to overcome this limitation and install more memory for faster mobile performance. More Speed Load applications faster and run demanding programs without lag. Crucial DDR4 SODIMMs debut at 2133 MT/s —more than 30% faster than DDR3 modules. More Bandwidth Effortlessly multitask between apps and empower your system to fire on all cylinders. Crucial DDR4 SODIMMs increase memory bandwidth by over 30%, allowing your system to handle more data at once. Crucial DDR4 SODIMMs are optimized for next-gen platforms, allowing you to maximize bandwidth.

As per manufacture's website: Crucial 8GB DDR4-2400 UDIMM CT8G4DFD824A Specs: DDR4 PC4-19200 • CL=17 • Dual Ranked • x8 based • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR4-2400 • 1.2V • 1024Meg x 64 • Memory's sticker labels product as CT8G4DFD824A. After closer inspection, the chips and circuitry on the board of RAM are slightly different than my original 8GB stick of the same model which is a dual ranked. Also, the only sticker on this chip is the label itself, no other "warranty void" stickers on the chip. I install the RAM and run CPU-Z for chip information. It lists the following information: module manufactured by Crucial Technology, DRAM manufactured by Micron Technology, and part number CT8G4DFD824A but it is a single ranked chip. As per the manufacturer's website, CT8G4SFD824A is a SODIMM chip. I cannot confirm whether this is an issue of manufacturer defect by mislabeling chips or if this is actually a counterfeit chip but the specs are not as they are advertised by the maker so I feel that a 1 egg rating is in order.

Product was as described, east to install. The computer responds rapidly instead of waiting for memory to clear out before moving to the next thing to do. Back to multifunction instead of single track preformance.

Significantly Increased my laptop's resources as expected. Playing videos has shown a marked improvement. The price is very competative. Istallation was simple and there are instructions found easily onlibe.
Good Ram. does as it is supposed to. Bought the pair of Crucial - DDR4 - 8 GB - DIMM 288-pin - unbuffered for 16gb RAM to replace original 8GB Kingston stick...will eventually get another pair to max my system out with available 32gb total... just jumping to 16 gb RAM alone helped speed my DAW for music production immensely...Thanks for having what i needed in stock! I have used crucial before in a bare bones build and was happy with it back in the Windows XP days... Currently running Windows 7 Pro until i can get my HD cloned just in case my anytime Windows 10 upgrade doesn't recognize my installed DAW software...
Bought this to give my computer a little bit more memory. Seemed to be helpful enough afterwards to help with basic multitasking that often comes with computer work. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done.
My HP desktop has been running slowly, and with a total of 12GB RAM, one 8GB, and one 4GB module I found that almost all of the RAM was being used. I would also end up with Registry errors and problems waking the machine from sleep or not going to sleep. At the price offered for a 16GB module, I found it worthwhile to purchase two to upgrade my system. What a difference! The computer is much faster, the screens don't hang up and problems like I've had are no longer there. The Crucial memory modules made all the difference in the world.
My HP Envy is about a year old and its performance became disappointing. I had 8BG of RAM and felt that could be the issue. I researched the proper product and found it. I ordered a 16GB Ram stick from B&H and received it in a timely fashion. I watched youtube videos on how to replace it and did it myself. It was nerve-racking because I've never opened up my laptop before. It turned out to be easy. Now my laptop is flying and all the issues have disappeared. Very happy!
I bought an Lenovo Flex 14 2-in-1 Convertible Laptop, 14 Inch FHD, Touchscreen, AMD Ryzen 5 3500U Processor, Radeon Vega 8 Graphics, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB NVMe SSD, Win 10, during Prime Day(s), at a great price. However, 4GB of RAM goes to the graphics, leaving 4GB to the OS. While violating my Lenovo warranty, I put this Crucial 16GB in after removing the 10 little screws on the bottom of the laptop (all 10 screws are visible). Pop the silver radiator in the center, and replace the 4GB with the Crucial 16GB, (the graphic 4GB is soldered). I have this on Win10/Ubuntu dual-boot. I don't miss that ThinkPad mousey thing between the G & H keys, as the touchpad is the very first one I actually like?!? This RAM took a memory starve lemon and transformed it into the most powerful platform I have personally owned.
After purchasing a Dell Inspiron 13 5000-5379, I noticed the 8GB of installed memory was sometimes getting maxed out. Luckily, the computer has two slots and came with only one full, so adding another 8GB was an easy, cost effective solution: Shut down the computer, remove the small Phillips screws on the bottom, use a bone tool to unsnap the panel. Making sure you dont have a static charge with a wrist-strap or are grounded, slip the module into the empty slot. Voila! 16GB were shown after restart. Now the computer runs quicker and has plenty of room to run multiple programs.Thank you B&H for a competitive deal and fast delivery.
