My husband and I have long disliked the big-name toothpastes you can buy at the drug store & supermarket. And we've tried all the others, too . Our first tube of David's was a regular one, which we loved. But I can't use it for prolonged periods of time due to tooth sensitivity. When I found out David's had a paste for sensitive teeth I literally whooped out loud. This toothpaste is smooth and light, not gluey and heavy. And it tastes real and fresh, not sugary and fake. It leaves a great taste in the mouth and freshens breath. Plus, our teeth are clean and the enamel is protected. LOVE THIS TOOTHPASTE.

It sounded amazing so I ordered a tube to try even though it was pricey. Then I saw Davids toothpaste at HEB while doing my regular grocery shopping. I bought a tube to try after I finished the other brand of toothpaste. I had more questions about the ingredients and wrote to Davids. Wow! My teeth feel clean after using this toothpaste. Better still, they keep feeling smooth throughout the day. No plaque buildup here! Now the taste...I'm typically a traditional mint girl, but I found the flavor surprisingly good. It's sweet for sure, as some reviewers complained about. But not an artificial poison sweet, more like stevia. It definitely gives me creamsicle vibes. My eight-year-old son, who only uses mint-flavored toothpaste, wasn't a fan--but, hey, you can't please everyone, right? I'll definitely be using up the rest of this tube, and when it comes time to order again will likely choose this flavor over the mint.

A year ago I went to the dentist after neglecting a visit for several years. My gums were sore, inflamed and bleeding, and I had teeth sensitivity. My dentist gave me a list of all the procedures required to get my teeth back into a healthy place. I decided to do everything I can to heal and restore the health of my gums. After much research I learned about hydroxyapatite and found David’s. I tried this toothpaste specifically along with oil pulling and tongue scraping and after a few months I went back to the dentist and they said my gums and teeth looked wonderful. I have no more sensitivity! I am so thankful for David’s toothpaste and I will be a lifelong customer!
I love this toothpaste. Bought it on recommendation in the New York Times Wirecutter section. I have somewhat sensitive gums that react to the ingredients in many store bought toothpastes. Davids toothpaste has a wonderful consistency and taste. The tube has an appealing old fashioned look and feel. I really like the thoughtful and natural way the ingredients were developed and put together. And finally the founder of the brand has a great story to tell. I’m delighted this alternative to store bought, mass produced toothpaste exists and I’ll be buying more after my current supply runs out. Five stars.

The buffer/polisher spin brush was especially awful, you’d generally be able to peel me off the ceiling after my appointments. I was actually looking for a toothpaste with hydroxyapatite. They make one but only in the tiny tube, and I think it’s been discontinued. This toothpaste is way overpriced. I stopped buying commercial toothpaste. I just buy the calcium carbonate pure powder which you can buy on this website, from now foods and it’s not expensive, and I mix it with baking soda and coconut oil, a little xylitol and some fennnel or peppermint and/or tea tree essential oil. It’s definitely working to re-mineralize the enamel on my teeth. So don’t waste your money on this, make your own!
Several years ago I started noticing aCouple of teeth were sensitive. I had used listerine and fluoride toothpastes for a long time. I figured those things contributed to this issue. The dentist recommended Sensodyne and it did alleviate some of the pain. However, my mom bought me David’s and I wasn’t too sure about it. I used it and I’m happy to say after the first couple of weeks I noticed a difference. After a month, no sensitivity. I’ve been using this product consistently for 6 months the and it has been a game changer! Highly recommend!

I say this as this was quite a difference from an old generic(big brand) tooth past I had ever used. My teeth actually felt clean. When I woke up the next morning I didn't have that dreaded morning film that always seems to be there with generic toothpastes. This is easily the top toothpaste I have ever used and I have already suggested it to my other friends about how well it does what toothpaste should have always done. within the first to weeks of use I have seen a difference.
