The game is good in terms of graphics as I'm always loving the new chapters that they create and how much detail there is in the background. Though if you don't have any friends that are playing the game with you, you can forget about trying to do any of the raids or nightfalls. As you need a 3 or 6 person team to complete those activities. As raids can't be one manned, and some nightfalls can be...but...not really. So you will miss out on those activities/achievements. It's a good game, and there always trying to add new content. But it can be expensive if you're paying full price for each new DLC. So I generally wait for a sale, as it always goes on sale. Though it is also now apart of game pass. But it's frustrating trying to accomplish things, long term, especially with new games releasing and everyone switching over to play something else because they got tired of the grind of Destiny.

Destiny 2 is great shooter and a relatively tactical game when you get to end game content. If you wanna really experience it I suggest buying at least Beyond Light and Witch Queen expansions once you try it F2P (sadly you can't play certain old content) You can also do the Vault of Glass raid(join D2 community Discord for LFG) without committing to buying first. All 3 classes are fun and good, you will most likely play them all 3 eventually, start with which jump/class ability feels best for you. Pros: - Improves on mechanics from Destiny in almost every way - The open-world is now a fully-fleshed RPG, catering to any experience you'd like to explore Cons: - Endgame progression is still opaque and confusing - The new weapon categories and subclasses feel like a ... MoreDestiny 2 is great shooter and a relatively tactical game when you get to end game content. Destiny 2 is a time sink. You are perpetually chasing light levels, armor, weapon rolls, etc. I personally found it exhausting after a playing a few seasons in end game content. You are required to play 30 plus hours a week to keep up and stay relevant. If that's your thing, it can be a fun and rewarding game. Gunplay is great; lore is good (supposedly, it makes no sense to me); PvP can be very good but it is hyper competitive even in quick play; Raids and Grand Masters can be enjoyable depending on a few variables. The free version will definitely give a taste of whether it is for you or not.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!! It's a scam this is still up for sale as absolutely NOTHING on this disc is still currently in the game. Litterly the only thing you'll get is the currently free to play content you can download right now ok whatever platform you play on for nothing. I'm appalled they're even selling this still at any price but for $60? This was the base game with no dlc that was outdated 3 months after release in 2017 and was discounted to $20 soon after. Also before the entirety of the content contained on this disk was removed it was sold for $5 for over 2 years and hasn't been full price in over 5 now, then it was offered completely for free for a few months before being removed. This is a potential lawsuit right here. Destiny 2 is my hobby and I have over ... MoreDO NOT BUY THIS!!!! This is a potential lawsuit right here. Destiny 2 is my hobby and I have over 7000 hours played in it with over 3000 into Destiny 1 so anybody thinking of buying this listen to what I'm saying. A simple Google search will tell you this, same for YouTube. Again if you buy this you will get absolutely nothing that's advertised on the box or the discription here. If you wanna try the game you can go to the Playstation, Xbox or Steam/Epic store on PC and download it for free right now, the same as you would get by purchasing this, and see if you then want to buy the current expansion Witch Queen or pre-order Lightfall seeing as how Witch Queen is nearing the end of it's year life with only 3 months left. This is an online only live service game that is always changing with content being added and removed constantly and this disk is just the launch state of the game that's been gone for over 3 years.
Personally, I do not like Destiny 2. I loved Destiny Taken King. The senseless grind to get powerful gear is so annoying that I stopped playing this stupid game. In few hours I was able to finish the game and then you are left with repetitive grind which after playing for hours often give you gear that you don't need because of the idiotic random drop. If you want to play crucible then you pretty much want to be either Hunter or Titan. Warlocks get owned in crucible. Unfortunately, I like warlock so I played mostly Gambit after finishing the campaign which is the only part that I liked about Destiny2. I hope that people from Bungie buy ESO and learn from it. ESO give you content and the interface is very intuitive. You can connect with other players so easily.
This game has hours of content and 3 times the 'fun...' However, this comes in the form of playing through the game three separate times along the same story line with the three types of character. All characters have different abilities, but by the time I got to my third, I was so sick of the story that I remained on one planet (Earth - EDZ) and farmed public events to level 20. It was painful, but not as painful as reliving the main story line. There is no option to skip it, but progress through it is significantly faster if you are able to hit level 20 with some semi-decent gear first. The developers could have put a little more effort in creating diverse and dynamic story-lines for each of the different classes to keep us a little more entertained! The developers could have put a little more effort in creating diverse and dynamic story-lines for each of the different classes to keep us a little more entertained! Final boss, sure, keep him the same. But, come... on.... it's mentally and physically draining to run the same route quite literally again and again and again......On the upside, end game content has been pretty good. There is emphasis on teamwork within the raid and co-op PVP is back with some interesting rewards. You are finally able to climb up a ledge if you jump and don't quite make it (Halle-flipping-lujah!?) Furthermore, exotic (top tier 'in-slot' weapons/armour) seem to be dropping FAR more frequently than in the original 'Destiny' and there is a real sense of 'gotta collect'em all' that comes with playing (excuse the pun).Overall I give this 8 thumbs up and 2 down (screw the system). You will enjoy this game if you liked halo 3 and it's predecessors (before it crashed, burned and died a horrible, horrible death). However, I recommend waiting until it's a little cheaper and you can get the game and season pass for around the current 'game only' price of £50.Hope that helps, over and out!Alzatar
Destiny 2 improves on everything that the previouse destiny did. It has a consistent story with amazing cutscenes that give you a context for what you're doing. The story may not be the mosy original but it's still very good.Regarding the gameplay Destiny 2 is fast, caotic, though. But above all that it's fun and enjoyable. Having a wave of enemies coming to kill you can be scary but at the end you really feel like a Guardian. The game can feel a bit repetitive specialy if you are playing by your self. The story helps to break the repetitiveness but the side missions can get boaring after a bit. Positives: Graphics are an upgraded version of the last game, I'm not complaining it's beautiful. The music in this game plays so well alongside what you're doing in game it's excellently done. The story is great, fun to play but you will check out on the second play through and skip the scenes. The social side is a little easier, communities easy to find on PS4 so you can grab a raid team and play. Hopefully they'll develop the guided raids and just give us a strike style fireteam system. Negatives: --Bugs! Honestly if you have a technicolor or Thompson router don't get this yet, it doesn't work properly for you, game is playable but you will be booted mid mission A LOT work around available but tiresome, it will be fixed soon enough though and after that it's a 4* ... MorePositives: Graphics are an upgraded version of the last game, I'm not complaining it's beautiful. If both of those are fixes this is genuinely a 5* game I love it when I can play!
This game, to anyone unaware is free to play on every platform from pc, to Xbox to PS4/5. Don’t buy this disc. It will not do anything the free version that you get in the Xbox store or PlayStation store doesn’t do. They probably have thousands of this disc. And at a $1.50 they’re going to make a killing off of selling something that doesn’t even cost money. Don’t be scammed people. They’re sending out useless dvds you can’t even re write to for $1.50
I’ve been playing destiny since the alpha for the original game and have become a lifetime fan of the franchise. The gameplay’s great with character classes, powers, variety of weapons and the gear you get. You can easily spend hours exploring the world, doing activities and unlocking amazing new weapons rich with lore. There are a lot of ups and downs with this franchise, but it has a strong and dedicated community, and and incredible team working to keep the game alive and people interested. The game is constantly improving and always welcoming to new players with activities for all skill ranges. If you like looter shooters, you’ll love this game, and although a lot of the background lore and story isn’t explained in the game, it’s incredible to read or watch ... MoreI’ve been playing destiny since the alpha for the original game and have become a lifetime fan of the franchise.
