Purchased two 6amp batterys. Arrived same size as my older copy floureons 4amps. Thought they would of been bigger. Due to being more amps. my old 4amp batterys last longer and charge properly.these dont charge well take hours sometimes to say they are fully charged then last 15mins before putting a 4amp floureon back in. . I Use on my skill saw drills and other dewalt tools. These 6amps Do NOT run longer at all. A bit strange. Guessing these are Possibly just labelled 6amp to ask higher price. They defiantly dont last long at all

What can you say about a battery. Plenty of power out of the 5Ah Dewalt lithium cells. Charges up quickly and lasts for ages. Excellent build quality, and I would always recommend the purchase of the genuine product and not go for one of the cheaper after market ones, so you can be sure it is safe and reliable to use.

Got two of these as part of a combi drill set and am very happy with how long a single charge lasts. I have only used the battery in the drill and an orbital sander so far, and only do sporadic DIY, but have probably drilled at least 50 odd holes and sanded for the equivalent of about 15 continuous minutes and the battery is still showing itself to be two thirds charged (batteries have a handy charge indicator to show charge remaining), two months after initially charging it. Mainly opted for this size as I cannot be bothered charging smaller batteries all the time. Overall, very happy, although if you have tools that draw more power your experiences may differ. Works fine, the ones that turned up were red but not a problem really. I found one of my newer DeWalt chargers (rectangle ones) didn't like charging these batteries but the older Dewalt one (rounded edge) charged fast and fine. I wouldn't rate them for heavy loads such as a circular saw or hammer SDS drill as they struggled a little. However for impact drivers, hammer drill, radio, multitool they work great. Only had them a month so could all change but so far so good. Don't overheat when on charge so seem safe to use. Better than expected so far
Plenty of juice on one charge for recent project. Bought to back up the 2 amp hour batteries with my drill and driver set. Did the whole job of building a stud wall and all the other bits of fitting a bathroom on a single charge. Bought on the recent discount offer making it a no brainer.
Very poor product, I have a Dewalt 1.5 AH battery that has more power than these supposed 5 AH. Very light in weight compared to other replica batteries. Be very careful when purchasing these poor copies as the adage says you only get what you pay for!!!
Ok here's the facts.You really do get what you pay for!. Poor electrical terminals (I had to reposition the terminals to locate within the charger, this is unacceptable). . Hard to charge. Inaccurate charge guage. Do not locate accurately. At best these are DIY backup grade. Construction appears ok initially but they are a long way from dewalt quality. Hard brittle plastic casing and the stickers over the battery guage fall off leaving a direct void to the cells inside. Battery lasts approx 1/4 of the genuine article. I bought these as a back up to my dewalt batteries simply for convenience. At any price they really are simply taking up tool box space. Just buy the real deal once and thank me later!
Well the saying goes buy cheap buy twice, and thats what these batteries are. You would be better off saving the extra money for a genuine dewalt battery. Put the batteries to the test against my old 5ah dewalt batteries doing the same job putting in tec roofing screws and my old dewalt batteries out performed the new ones. Basically did twice the amount of screws. These batteries performed more like a 3ah and they seem to drop the charge so quick. Will be buying genuine ones next time. The only bonus was the price and they fit the dewalt tools perfectly.

The battery charge indicator showed one light (up to three for fully charged) so I decided to charge it to top it up. Unfortunately when I fitted it into the charger, the charging light stayed solid, not blinking, indicating that it was already fully charged and was not charging. I tried it several times and tried my other batteries in the charger. They all charged OK but the new one did not. I left it for an hour just in case, but it still only showed one light on the charge indicator.
