Bought 9 months ago, and broke. I would expect the quality to be better for a thick band. Went down to the store for advice, was told that this is what it is. Not supposed to keep the band in aircon room and also warm place. I believe that most homes have a variance in temperature. If this band cannot be used in certain environment, please state so. Clearly a terrible product quality.

So I have got a green and a yellow band. Having these two products is like having a portable gym. I have been using them for general strength training as an alternative for dumbbells. If you are only getting one band (for general strength training) then get the green as there is no end of exercises you can do with the green. But getting the green and yellow gives you options 15kg, 25kg and 35kg. If you are strong and need more than 35kg then consider a larger band for more resistance. Personally I am thinking of getting a second green to give me even more options. Some people comm

I guess this replaces anything that you crib about not having at your home for a proper workout. It's a fact that this allows you to hit comparatively lesser reps than the 15kg or the 25kg one and it's quite obvious. But if you embrace the resistance offered by this one you'll surely love it. Also, I would recommend you to buy this only if you workout at a regular basis and can withstand a heavy load like this one. Otherwise I'd ask you to go for 25kgs or the 15kg one. Also, don't worry about the material. The packaging is a fantastic deal and the material feels immensely durable. If you ever snap a band from Decathlon, accept the fact that you've grown stronger cause this is probably the best finish one could ever expect in a resistance band.

Full set
24 November 2022

I have a full set of these bands, these are high quality Latex at a very reasonable price, can be used anywhere I took them on holidays recently, would recommend getting a door anchor and a set of workout gloves to use with bands, checkout the excellent videos on YouTube on how to use them properly, progressive resistance at any angle while protecting your joints is much better than weights or machines, and I run our works gym for many years. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED very addictive when you see the results, I train to total failure one set per exersice incorporating HIIT, Quality of movement is King and gives you injury free results fast.

Good with minor gripes
17 January 2021

Bought this for deadlifting. It's affordable, has a good length, and works as advertised. However, the band is slightly too wide for a comfortable grip. I dread to grip the wider 60 kg version, so I've been doubling it with another band instead. I wished they would make the band thicker rather than wider. Also, I worry for this band's reliability. The product page implies that you can stretch the band to at least 3 times its original length, but I've had a 25 kg band break on me while doing assisted pull-ups, which I think only stretched it to twice its original length. Would be perfect if they fixed these two issues.

Great for a home workout
15 May 2020

Bought these due to lockdown and not being able to get to the gym. After a bit of research on distant exercises that I can do with these, I found them to be an excellent alternative to using weights. I will continue to use these for certain exercises even when the gyms open up again. The convenience of being able to use them anywhere has even got my partner interested in doing some workouts, who doesn’t usually show any interest in exercising.I would recommend purchasing a door anchor and gloves to use with these. A door anchor opens up a lot of new exercises you can do in the home, and gloves to help protect your hands. My only question about these is if the specified weight refers to the tension they produce when at full stretch or start from that weight?

Great for assisted pull ups
1 April 2022

Having used lat pull down machines for some time, I would like to start doing pull ups. However, my back muscles are still not strong enough to do unassisted pull ups. This elastic band is helping me make that transition while maintaining proper form and minimising risk of injury. I weigh around 75kg and the 45kg resistance band allows me to do 8 to 10 reps. After 6 weeks of indoor use, the colour has noticeably faded, though its function remains unaffected. In terms of durability and elasticity, I guess time will tell.

Just Awesome
28 June 2020

Ohhh my God, this band is just amazing, truly wonderful.I was thinking of buying some free weight and dumbels during lockdown ,but was proving expensive, then I just orderd these bands one yellow one light blue and one red. While placing order I had planned that I would just return these bands as I was not impressed that how can just a band would be used for all body part workouts. On delivery I was not impressed at all with these bands, but I watched some video guides on youtube and i was surprised.Ohhhhh my Goooooodddd..These band are just superb, i am wondering that just spending less than 2500 INR i can train and perform most of the exercises and that tooo gives u very nice pump and shape and it really exhausts you.Best home workout EQUIPMENT

Product got damaged within 6 months of light use
4 November 2021

I had purchased the 45 kg resistance band for my light warmup routine. However, i was disappointed as the rubber started disintegrating in certain areas and there were small tears & melts in the rubber band (after a couple of months of use). I had immediately stopped my use and hoped the band would not deteriorate further. To my surprise, the rubber started to disintegrate even when It was kept in pristine condition. I have taken photos but I was not able to attach them here.I sincerely hope Decathlon would help in getting a resolution for this damaged product.
