I started using this after seeing it recommended as a method to clean makeup brushes and WOW, IT WORKS SO WELL. I had been using a liquid brush cleanser and it worked well for powder brushes, but my foundation and concealer brushes absolutely would not come 100% clean. I finally picked this bar up and after only a little bit of effort, my foundation brushes look almost as good as new. I’m kicking myself for not trying it sooner! This saves me so much time and effort, I truly can’t recommend it enough. I also use it for my face about once a week. I wouldn’t personally use it more than that because it does feel a little too drying, but my face feels so clean after and eucalyptus is supposed to help with acne. Dehydrating even to non-dry skin

I was very excited to use this soap because I love that it is vegan, cruelty-free, organic, and has a rose fragrance. I tried using it a few times as a body soap in the shower, and every time, my hands and body would feel super dry. I even noticed that the skin under my fingernails had turned solid white after using this soap.I usually do not have dry skin on my body, so I normally do not feel the need to put on lotion after washing, but I absolutely had to after using this soap. It was very dehydrating to my skin. I gave 3 stars because I love the brand being vegan, cruelty-free, and organic, and I love the rose fragrance, but I will no longer use this soap on my body. Dr. Bronner’s is my favorite soap

I love all of Dr.Bronner’s bar soaps. Normally I wouldn’t risk paying so much for bar soap but a roommate in college gave me an entire box of them that lasted me at least a year, so I know the quality is amazing. With consistent use, my skin improved so much. After college, I went back to cheap soap (Dove, Yardley’s, dial, etc) and my skin started having problems again, like acne, itchiness, dryness, etc. which is why I’m now buying Dr. Bronner’s again. It’s entirely worth the money. They all smell amazing, make the skin feel great, last for a long time, and now I discovered they work great as a shampoo bar, which is awesome because bars marketed as shampoo by other brands tend to be way more expensive.

I use this soap to wash dishes since I'm trying to cut down on how much plastic I use in my day-to-day life. It is an amazingly good dishwashing detergent! Gets stuff really clean, rinses with little to no residue, and while it smells nice and fresh, the scent doesn't remain on my utensils or plates. I also use it to make DIY mopping solution (75% water, 15% rubbing alcohol, 10% this soap bar--I grate the soap into the water/alcohol solution and let it sit for a day before it's ready to use. You can also add essential oils to increase the cleaning efficacy of the solution.) This soap is also incredibly useful when you're camping or traveling. It works as a laundry bar, body soap, and (as previously mentioned) a dishwashing soap. Excellent! Facial cleansing bar

I love Dr Bonner’s soaps. Rose water and extracts are known for powerful skin healing, this has the clean soft scent of roses, it’s non irritating gentle quality are perfect for sensitive skin, your skin will feel soft and moisturized. The package and size and composition are economical and last for months. My skin is combination but in colder months when dry it balanced my complexion, I use this 2-3 times daily. Trust me your skin will rea- the benefit of this soap.

PERFECT for my face!!!

Wow! Love this stuff! I have been using this as a daily facial cleanser for about a month now. The results have been amazing! I feel as though my face is so much clearer, softer, and brighter. It has done a better job than many high priced soaps and scrubs that are specifically marketed for facial cleansing. I’m not sure about everybody else’s skin type, but for my skin, this works wonders on my face. Definitely give it a try!

Skin Clearing Soap Bar <3

The tea tree is mild, does not sting/burn/tingle- it’s not too overpowering and is complimented by the other essential oils in the bar. Great nourishing and clarifying formula. I’ve only used this bar as a face wash yet, about 4-5 times so far, & it has visibly cleared out my pores since the first use which I wasn’t expecting. Also tea tree has major anti fungal properties so this could help for someone who experiences athletes foot or similar issues!! Great little bar, seems like it will not wilt down too quick with use

Terrible

I thought maybe this wouldn't be as drying as the liquids, I was more than disappointed in this than the liquid and felt downright cheated. I judge my soaps based on how well they clean including how effective it is on the "smelly" areas of the body and whether they leave the skin dry afterwards. I also judge it by whether it can clean the dirt out of my washcloth among others. If I can still smell even a hint of odor after washing twice, it's time to move on. Usually this is followed by failing to wash out the dirt leftover in the wash cloth.This bar not only failed the smell test, but the heavily perfumed bar, which hits you as soon as you open it, leaves behind perfume on top of the odor. AND it doesn't smell of eucalyptus in the slightest.
