While I didn't expect these to be comfortable right away, the left really puts a lot more pressure on the top of the foot to the point of toes eventually getting tingly, and the right does not. It's too late to return/exchange now, so I'm trying to stretch the left out using a ball with very slow progress. Disappointed in the lack of consistency between the two shoes. Size lengthwise is big and sizing down for this reason would be best, which seems to be the case for other people too. Half sizes would've been more ideal for length.

I have one paralyzed arm so I always look for boots with a zipper and I’m vegan so I look for cruelty-free materials.Docs run big: I am a 5’4, 95lb adult female, narrow exact size 6 foot in US Women’s shoes. Now I know Doc children’s 4US/3UK is my perfect size.I will probably buy up the other pairs to keep for the future as I see myself living in these.

Got the Dr Martens rugged and dressed aesthetic, but also the usual issues as with most ankle-high boots made of tough leather-esque material. Needs some breaking in to make it comfortable for longer wear. At the moment, my calves know they're hitting against the top of the boot with every step. Wish they would line the cuff edge with some cushioning to make it softer against the calf. The laces were not thought out at all. They're a flimsy, slim polyester blend that don't really hold. Haven't got much wear from my pair, since I've been looking for a new pair of laces to replace the originals. Not what you expect when you pay this much for a pair of Docs.
Gorgeous, look even better than the picture. Comfortable even as new. Bought them for my daughters prom so they're in a box for now. Great quality and workmanship. Lots of compliments from people on the one trip out in them. Also great value as in the sale. Never thought about white boots but they are lovely.
I am sure these are great boots but they are cutting both feet off me at the moment as I am breaking them in. I would expect some discomfort during the breaking in period but this is exceptional, I have a blister just below my big toe on my left foot, my little toe on the right foot is very aggravated and red as is the the bottom of my heel on the right foot, they are also cutting into both my legs at the top of the boots, hopefully this will all come to an end soon as these boots and I get to know each other better.On the positive side my footwear at work needs to be highly polished, which was the reason I purchased them. Now after numerous applications of polish, brush and cloth they are shining like the stars, it is just so unfortunate that they are hurting me ... The boots are great but I can't wear them. I've tried for a week and I injured my anckles too badly. I knew you have to "break them" but I think they are too small. 41 is the size for everything I usually wear and I really tried to give them a shot. (google "sunk cost effect")I would like to try a larger size (41.5 or 42) but I already wore them for a week. They are still in good condition but a week left some lines into the leather.

At first, one shoe was the issue while the other was perfectly fine and supporting my balance. Then, both boots started having issues in the same day not much longer afterwards. I feel as if the heel of the boot pulled itself in with every step I took, which caused a nasty amount of friction. I'd like the back heel of the boot to be much sturdier and not bend as much or AT ALL. Overall, they seem very strong and sturdy, despite issues surrounding ... I kind of have an issue with boots in that I have a lot of them. I’ve been holding off getting these black beauties for a long while and kind of upset that I didn’t purchase them earlier! My life could have been that much more industrial and goth!I have the brown leather, and the vegan leather and nothing compares to the way these feel and make me feel when I wear them. I bought a size up (usually an 11 but got 12) and they actually fit perfectly with just enough wiggle room. Got the wonder balm to spiffy then up every other week.So stoked!
I looked forward to finally getting another pair of DMs but due to me overlooking Dr Martens poor choice of courier, a pair of boots ordered Monday for a party Saturday didn’t turn up until the following Tuesday. Rejected as advised by DM customer services.From looking at all of the styles available in my local store (they didn’t have my size hence ordering online) I’m glad I didn’t keep them. Leather very thin (not like how they were when I was at school). I’m sure they will last a year maybe, but I’ve had Scarpa’s last 4 so maybe I’m expecting too much.Either way, I like the style but quality not so much. Won’t buy DMs again.
