I received my husband’s shoes today, a christmas gift for him. The shoes were not on sale, I paid the full price…but they arrived in a brown nordstrom shipping box, that’s it! They looked like they came from a clearance rack…where is the original Dr Martens shoe box? They were just thrown inside a big box with nothing to protect them during transit. The shoes did not have any tissue paper stuffing or tissue paper wrapping for protection. So disappointed! Well this is not the first time receiving a cheaply packaged item from Nordstrom, but a full-priced item without it’s own shoe box is a big turn-off. Not acceptable, returning tomorrow!!!

My husband usually wears an 11.5. Bought the US men’s 12 for him first. They were so big that his heel slipped when walking and looked like clown shoes. Sent them back and got an 11. They are so small that his toe hits the front. What the heck, Doc Marten? It’s 2023. You can’t make half sizes?!

So comfy. I wear all day for work 8-6 and no issues at all. They look so smart on and I get so many compliments.. my only thing I would say they are a little heavy.
These shoes are siiiiick!Perfect for work at the office and site visits. Didn’t feel they needed ‘breaking in’ as comfortable to wear straight away! Has the hardness/feel of a boot but suitable as a smart shot.
I have been wearing DM shoes and boots for over 40 years and these are without doubt the most comfortable pair yet. not only that, but cannot believe the number of admiring comments when wearing them. Business or pleasure, they tick all the boxes.
This is my daughter's second pair. She wore them constantly for 2 years for school and work. My daughter is very hard on shoes, normal school shoes don't last a school year. Her first pair of Doc Martins were left outside on the patio to face the elements, heels flattened as she walked to the car because she hadn't undone the laces and covered weekly in corrosive cleaning products from work. Everything you shouldn't do to shoes she does. Doc Martins are tough! I expect these to last until she finishes school next year. If she treated them well I believe they would last forever!
Very comfortable soft leather,the order was dealt with very professionally,they are a really good fit, I still have a pair of brown standard leather and I’ve had them over seven years now they are brilliant!
I took 46. I thought my classic size (45/45.5) was tight. However, 46 is too big even with mountain socks.The model is very nice and finished. The grained leather is fantastic.The thing that I didn't like was the fact that I had to pay for the return shipping. I paid 54€. I don't think they will reimburse me.I would like dr.martens to respond to this.
