First of all the staff inside the Newcastle branch were brilliant. They assisted me in ordering the shoes as they had none in stock. I'm not the best with computers but they had the patience of a saint. Thankyou. They were delivered by standard post, which l could hardly wait for. As soon as l opend the box, the wait was worthwhile. The ambassador leather oozes quality. It is soft, supple, and for me is totally more wearable and easier to break in than the smooth leather. I would definately consider buying the 8 eyelet 1460 boot for more ankle support in the future but all in all 10 out of 10. Thankyou

I received my husband’s shoes today, a christmas gift for him. The shoes were not on sale, I paid the full price…but they arrived in a brown nordstrom shipping box, that’s it! They looked like they came from a clearance rack…where is the original Dr Martens shoe box? They were just thrown inside a big box with nothing to protect them during transit. The shoes did not have any tissue paper stuffing or tissue paper wrapping for protection. So disappointed! Well this is not the first time receiving a cheaply packaged item from Nordstrom, but a full-priced item without it’s own shoe box is a big turn-off. Not acceptable, returning tomorrow!!!

Treated myself on starting a new job and wasn't disappointed! Had DM boots before and loved them. These shoes are the most comfortable DMs I've ever had. Obviously, being soft leather they bend much more than traditional DMs so don't take any wearing in.I have spinal nerve damage which affects my right side and right foot so struggle hugely with shoes. I've even had to give up on beloved DM boots because of it. However, the shoes have been a great alternative for me. I can fit my own insole in, get my foot in easily and make tighter or looser.....and I don't even have to mention how hard wearing they are - any DM will outlive me.Highly recommend the whole buying process and of course the product itself!Very happy *skips off to buy new socks* 😊

My husband usually wears an 11.5. Bought the US men’s 12 for him first. They were so big that his heel slipped when walking and looked like clown shoes. Sent them back and got an 11. They are so small that his toe hits the front. What the heck, Doc Marten? It’s 2023. You can’t make half sizes?!
Had a pair of these previously that I wore for years until they finally came apart. Just got a new pair and it seems like they are even better. No break-in necessary all. Its a really great all around, any kind of situation shoe. I use them for walks, dress up nights, etc. Buy a pair.
These shoes are siiiiick!Perfect for work at the office and site visits. Didn’t feel they needed ‘breaking in’ as comfortable to wear straight away! Has the hardness/feel of a boot but suitable as a smart shot.
I have been wearing DM shoes and boots for over 40 years and these are without doubt the most comfortable pair yet. not only that, but cannot believe the number of admiring comments when wearing them. Business or pleasure, they tick all the boxes.
This is my third pair of DM shoes, but i am not very happy with this purchase.The stitched inside edge of the left heel area is badly finished and very uncomfortable. The right shoe is fine.I wont be sending the shoes back but will not be able to wear them until i have found some heel liners. Having to research and buy these is frustrating.Should you be able to send a pair of DM liners AD034000 that would be great.
This is my daughter's second pair. She wore them constantly for 2 years for school and work. My daughter is very hard on shoes, normal school shoes don't last a school year. Her first pair of Doc Martins were left outside on the patio to face the elements, heels flattened as she walked to the car because she hadn't undone the laces and covered weekly in corrosive cleaning products from work. Everything you shouldn't do to shoes she does. Doc Martins are tough! I expect these to last until she finishes school next year. If she treated them well I believe they would last forever!
These are literally the fourth pair I have purchased for my son in under 2 years and while they do last him a long time, he is a seminarian studying to become a Catholic priest and that means plenty of walking around doing his ministry work as a deacon and needing to have excellent shoe support to do so. These shoes are excellent mind you he is very tall so a comfy shoot is a must. They also look dressy as they do casual. He's a huge fan of Doc Martens
