I just started to take astaxanthin , been wanting to get them but at a loss as to which company to buy from. In the end, I decided to buy Dr Mercola's., as it has got to be organic and clean. In the US, one have so many choices , not so in Australia. My brother gets bloating taking another brand of Hawaian astaxanthin.

Expensive but it is crucial to have a good antioxidant for skin protection against sun and other stressors. We take a few time to time to assist the body with detoxification.
Although it’s high 12mg but I feel I need it. The antioxidant effects may be all in my mind but as I also take other supplements to complement it, I feel it works for me. Stools slightly reddish though. Wish it’s was cheaper in price, but for the purity of product, i’ll keep buying it. Thanks
I have taken this for 3 bottles alr, i dont see any changes in muscle weakness. Maybe it's not potent or need to blend with other supplements? But im gonna stop here. (No side effects, safe to try)#quality #improvement #benefit
I have been taking this supplement for about 5 years in a lower 4 mg dose. It definitely has protected my fair, sunburn prone skin when exposed to the elements. I decided to increase to a higher dosage after reading that astaxanthin studies were based on the higher dose. I haven't noticed any adverse reaction since upping the dosage. I don't know if astaxanthin offers protection from sun damage that occurs in deeper levels of the skin, however.
Superb quality, top quality ingredients, the price outweighs the benefits, best brand. Asta is important and you should take 12 mg as adults. It works beatifully as internal sunscreen, radiation protection, for your heart health, eyes health, skin food, an antioxidant that can truly fight free radicals, anti-aging benefits, abundant carotene, and many more. I am 50, have been taking this since more than 7 years ago. Almost no wrinkles and my eyesight is normal. Can't stop praising and thanking Dr. Mercola's Asta!
