This is constantly my first choice for finishing gakvanised products . I Choose it OVER Powder Coating.. It does need attention to detail to get very good results as not folowing Dulux veary good rcomendation will eventually result in disapointmnet. So after obtaining excelent results over the last 5 or so years on many projects I highly recomend.

Our front entrance security enclosure had been corroded/white rusted by the salty sea-air.Once the steel was prepped, sanded then pressure-jetted, we spray painted with Metalshield Epoxy Enamel Gloss. The results are amazing and the enclosure now looks like brand new.Fantastic coverage. Fantastic outcome.

This is by far the worst spray paint I have ever used. I'm not sure if the batch was off or it's just a poor product. Reviews online point to the product. I stripped all the metal, used the dulux primer and applied the white paint. The product sprays out like chalk and this morning I was able brush it off with my finger And 600grot sand paper was able to take it back down to the primer... The colour is also cream rather than vivid white as the can says. You can see by the photo how much dust this spray gave off, it's unbelievable.

We used this to change the colour of our window mullions (window frames), we used it in conjunction with an etch primer. I found it worked pretty well, it took about 3 coats to get good coverage. The downside is that it is quite prone to scratching off in the first 72 hours, so you need to leave it to dry for quite a while and not hit/touch with anything in that time. The finish colour is a really nice matte black colour.
Was told that this does not require a primer. Door frame is a metal frame and has been cleaned and then lightly sanded. Photos of after application and 2 weeks after. Frame was painted in preparation for new door. Some minor scratches and notice that the black paint isn't sticking to frame
I have bought an used many metal spray products over the years. I bought 6 cans of this rubbish. The nozzles constantly clogged, in some case with the first use of the can.Secondly the drying time is days not hours. 24 hours later and usually the sprayed item is still tacky and isn't usable.Third even once dry, its not very durable.Honestly don't waste your money on this junk.
Didn’t bother reading reviews thinking dulux product must be good. It was terrible, really bad odour and in an enclosed space it didn’t even spray where i wanted it to, the mist covered the room and on the walls and floors of other rooms too. Tried another product, immediately improved and worked a treat
This pain is terrible - despite extensive time and effort put into prep the finish keeps blistering and cracking. Impossible to achieve consistent application so 2nd / 3rd coats don't match and leaves obvious patches. The can oversprays and leaves dust everywhere.NO WAY this colour can be called vivid white! it's off-white or cream at best - looks terrible.Expected better from Dulux. Very disappointing but it is sold by Bunnings afterall so poor quality should not be rea surprise. I’d rate straight up zeros if the option was available.
Bought this Jan2022 to paint over previously painted metal. Sanded & properly prepared surface & wiped down twice with turpentine as I wanted a glassy gloss finish.Plenty of bubbles on painted surface which then burst when half dried causing craters. Very POOR coverage. I had to apply 3 coats to get decent finish. Very BAD experience.
I used these on repainting my horse float and they went quite well. Occasional issue with couple of the spray heads, but overall, ok. The surface was a type of colorbond panel with light colour; I did wash, sand, wash again, and prime before using, but it stuck equally well to gal sheets that I didn't mask off well enough also... lol
