However, with the amount of slips this tire put me through, along with lowside thanks to awful grip under very moderate angle, it will make its own life mission to take away any confidence you had built up.If you're starting your riding journey, and this wheel comes as stock, I strongly recommend to steer away from it unless you're not interested in improving rider mod and ride strictly in straight line with no interest to lean angle. This is my second one. The first one was short lived as I didn’t align my wheel properly. I learned from my mistakes not to use a chain alignment tool. This one only got about 150km on it before I had to plug it. I picked up a roofing nail! Ugh! Oh well. I guess we just can’t have nice new things for long!
Bought this tire for my Yamaha r3 as an upgrade to the OEM Michelin tires. These have infinitely more grip in the dry and wet. They are very easy to turn in but also hold a straight line very well. If you will be commuting more than carving, the middle of the tire will wear out pretty fast. You can air them up a little more to help this, but you will be sacrificing some grip. The main issue with this tire is gravel. This tire HATES gravel. Any bit of debris (dirt, gravel, etc) and you will lose most feeling from the front tire. Again, you could air these down to compensate for this but then you risk wearing down the middle much faster. These have held up for about 2500 miles and 2 full track days. I absolutely love these tires. they are the perfect blend of grip and longevity, I had no problem getting 13,000 miles out of the back tire on my Z400. I could have gotten more out of them but they squared off too much for my liking. The front has at least another 2000 miles in it! I replaced the back tire of my z400 (Ninja 400) with a 140/70/17 and I can confidently say that the smaller tire is worth the upgrade! the bike flicks into turns and holds a line way better than before! lets see how these tires hold up now that im doing more sporty riding and less commuting.
These come stock on the Ninja 400, and they're great on little bikes. I've ridden them on the track on two different small-displacement bikes and they're fantastic. And for the price, you can't beat them! However, on my Versys 650 the handling is a little inconsistent and the wear is unacceptable: 2400 miles out of the rear before it was down to the wear bars. Granted, it was fully loaded highway touring, but still, a Supercorsa would last longer than that!So, not ideal for larger/heavier bikes, but a solid choice for smaller bikes which seem to suite the carcass design and other characteristics of the tire.
I have risen on these tire now for 600 miles. On the road and on the track. They came with my Ninja 400 and they stick very well. I have about 100 miles on the track and 500 on mountain roads. They stick very well and a great option for the price. I haven't had a chance to use in the rain and hope I will not with this bike. I am pretty good about watching the weather with this bike.Track days definitely will pile rubber up on the edges.I am only giving 4 stars because I haven't ridden in the rain yet or compared it to any other on this bike yet.
Great overall tire. Good tread life. Good in rain and on dry pavement.I use my bike more for touring. So these tires fit me well. Last set I had 7500 miles on. And could have easily put more on. Only reason I put 4 stars for grip and wet traction. Is because they are a great overall tire. And even I take precautions.

I ran them at high speed, low lean in the rain once, and I was very surprised how well they held the road. That said, I never suggest anyone take a bike into a deep lean in the rain on the road with any tire.Tire life on my 900 isn't great at 5000-6000 km for the rear, but I often get throttle happy. I also change my tires at the wear bar not at the cords showing (handling isn't stellar when at the wear bars anyway). The price on these tires is low enough to buy two sets a season anyway.I run 36 psi front and 42 psi rear as Kawasaki recommends to maintain tire life. I once ran at 34F & 38R expecting to get a bit more grip on a cooler day but the tire wear was considerable after a 400+ km compared to running the Kawasaki recommended pressures.Lastly, I ordered these tires at noon on Tuesday and they were at my front door in Ottawa before noon Wednesday so F9 processed the order quickly.
