I bought the gpr300's because I wanted the battleax s21's but decided that they were probably a little aggressive for the type of riding I do. So far the dunlops feel good, and theres plenty of grip for regular street riding and commuting. They are excellent in the rain in my opinion, I was caught out in a downpour and aside from being extremely cold and uncomfortable, the bike still felt confident and I never felt on the edge of grip. When coming to a stop, I was actually surprised how much brake I could give without losing traction. I accidentally hit a hidden puddle aprox 2" deep and 30-40 ft long and the tires treaded the water fine at about 40mph without planing. Lastly, they look good. They're sporty looking without being obnoxious and I think they work great.

After running them on the track day on them this week I had to toss out a review. The day was damp in the morning and hot and dry in the afternoon. A great test to budget friendly tires. I lowered the PSI to 29 front and 25 rear (cold). The tires never felt budget. They worked really well in the morning when track was drying yet had plenty of damp patches and was really a cold 50F. Then when the day wore on it was 70's and dry the laps were fast with knee down in the corners and a really fun day with no moments from the tires. Shipped quick. Packaged well. No issues with contents in box. Helpful delivery guy. Great quality as expected with Dunlop and Fortnine. Installed easier compared to my friends tire brands. Great grip in the rain. Sticks to the road nicely on colder days and super sticks on hot days. Gets a little chewed up as per my MT09 wheelies via torque which is to be expected. Longer rides will flatten it out eventually, I'm guessing it's not dual compound on the top? Could be, idk. Will buy again!
I absolutely love these tires. they are the perfect blend of grip and longevity, I had no problem getting 13,000 miles out of the back tire on my Z400. I could have gotten more out of them but they squared off too much for my liking. The front has at least another 2000 miles in it! I replaced the back tire of my z400 (Ninja 400) with a 140/70/17 and I can confidently say that the smaller tire is worth the upgrade! the bike flicks into turns and holds a line way better than before! lets see how these tires hold up now that im doing more sporty riding and less commuting.

I ran them at high speed, low lean in the rain once, and I was very surprised how well they held the road. That said, I never suggest anyone take a bike into a deep lean in the rain on the road with any tire.Tire life on my 900 isn't great at 5000-6000 km for the rear, but I often get throttle happy. I also change my tires at the wear bar not at the cords showing (handling isn't stellar when at the wear bars anyway). The price on these tires is low enough to buy two sets a season anyway.I run 36 psi front and 42 psi rear as Kawasaki recommends to maintain tire life. I once ran at 34F & 38R expecting to get a bit more grip on a cooler day but the tire wear was considerable after a 400+ km compared to running the Kawasaki recommended pressures.Lastly, I ordered these tires at noon on Tuesday and they were at my front door in Ottawa before noon Wednesday so F9 processed the order quickly.
I had them on my DR650 supermoto setup and after just a few rides (couple hundred Ks) I noticed a flat spot on the rear tire. I then put them on my Katana 750 because I sold my supermoto wheels. I did not even get 4000kms out of the rear tire. I will not be buying these tires again. Save your money and buy better rubbers. The front tire still looks like new though!
This tire is great for a year-round riding. Handles amazing, tread life is great, and you can't beat the price. I do a lot of freeway, street, back roads, and canyon riding and this tire has always held up great. If you decide to get it please call your local cycle gear first to see if they can install it for the $25 they advertise. my local store in San Marcos, CA is like McDonalds with their ice cream machine. it "doesn't work" ever.(Bike is a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R)
