Dior Sauvage is an iconic yet infamous name that draws the most mixed reactions from the fragrance community, and for a good reason. It's probably the most common, versatile fragrance you can own as a man. Good for all weather, almost any occasion (please don't wear this when you take out your three piece suit) and for all age groups. Packaging: Nothing extraordinary, comes in a regular box. The bottle, especially the pressured atomizer is amazing though. The magnetic cap makes me happy too. 8/10 Scent: The second you spray this, you can smell the lavender and pepper hit you. It creates a great fresh, and uplifting combination. The ambroxan in dry down doesn't feel synthetic, which is great. 8/10 Sillage and longevity: Lasts all day on your clothes and projects well ... No complaints here. 10/10

If you are someone looking for compliments, this review is for you! Even with those that dislike perfumes, this scent seems to work its magic through. It is none other than Dior Sauvage EDT! Let’s get the review started. In recent years, ambroxan (a ingredient used to replace ambergris, a very high quality fragrance ingredient that is getting more expensive) heavy fragrances Dior sauvage is undoubtedly one of those “blue” fragrances and dare I say, it is the top 3 of the bunch. Why? Because it is so successful that Dior had to release 4 different iterations of it. EDT, EDP, Parfum as well as the cool spray. It lasts 7 – 8 hours which is long enough to last us throughout the day of work/school. Projection is very noticeable as well, at least one arm’s length away. There was once where I did 4 sprays of Dior sauvage in my room and my mum commented “Your perfume smells so strong” as she strode past my room.

My husband is very picky when it comes to scents. He's been using Creed Aventus the whole time. And it's happening! The next perfume he liked was Dior Savage. Fresh spicy fragrance with notes of amber, wood, musk and bergamot. The fragrance is warm, for the cold season. It smells expensive, unobtrusive and complimentary. Versatile for any event. 100% clear perfume, a very noticeable perfume that draws attention to itself Heavy, stylish bottle. Magnetized cap.

This is arguably the most popular fragrance ever. Most men that wear cologne are wearing this one. However just because everyone wears it, doesn’t make it bad. It’s popular for a reason. If you like your fragrance to be smelled, this is the one for you. This is a crowd-pleaser and easily gets compliments. It’s not hard to wear and goes with most outfits and settings. Citrus and ambroxan are the most significant note, but I think the lavender is what really keeps it grounded. Overall, a really nice scent but gets a lot of hate because “your girl’s ex-boyfriend used to wear it,” which is unfair seeing as very few guys even wear cologne.
I first discovered this scent when I walked past my guy friends and asked what cologne they were wearing. It smelled that good. They told me it was Dior Sauvage so obviously I had to google it and do my research. Turns out its the staple perfume for millennials and gen z men! I knew I had to grab some for my boyfriend to try. I went to Sephora to grab a sample and my boyfriend ended up liking the scent. I ended up grabbing a perfume travel set at Bloomingdale’s for a great price. My boyfriend has been using this cologne for years now and its lasted quite a long time. The scent lasts all day with a few sprays and smells so good! I highly recommend all the gals to grab this for the men in their lives. It’s not too strong where its irritating but you’ll definitely know ... I don't know if anyone else is like me but I bought this perfume for my husband because I am a Johnny Depp fan. I bought it for my husband last Christmas, he wears it quite often but still has a lot of bottles left. This perfume is very attractive, strong and seductive. It is the perfect blend of spicy, woody and fresh notes that create a bold and sophisticated scent. The combination of orange and amber makes it both fresh and warm, ideal for any occasion. The fragrance lasts so long that the scent lingers in his car, which I love. I have always appreciated Dior perfumes and will always support them.
Most people skip on this scent and I honestly have to clear things up after testing the series. Sauvage Parfum is a great office/work/going out/doing whatever scent. Its much more toned down than in the EdT/EdP. It has lots of that dark vanilla note which sets the EdP apart from the EdT. The Parfum makes it ever so slightly sweeter and denser. Also you get much more depth because of the prominent nutmeg note. Not as strong as in the Elixir though. If you ask me it’s a completely overlooked DNA which sits right between the EdP and the Elixir. A perfect combination of freshness and a cozy sweet spicyness. The longevity is good and it will last you for a whole day. The sillage on the other hand is much weaker. For that’s a plus. No way near the atomic performance of ... No way near the atomic performance of the Elixir and it is good for about 12 hours then becomes a skin scent quite quickly. With some heat/activity you can still get some projection out of it though. In summary: Sauvage EDP is a nobrainer that comes fresh, sweet and spicy at the same time. It’s affordable, long lasting and will not annoy everybody around you.
My initial impression was one of intrigue, and upon trying it, I was captivated by its blend of powerful citrus notes harmoniously balanced by the noble warmth of ambroxan, rich woods, and resinous elemi. Incorporating Sauvage into my daily routine felt like embracing authenticity and boldness. Its instantly recognizable scent offered a unique olfactory experience that felt both confident and genuine. This fragrance seamlessly fits into various facets of my life. Its fresh, invigorating essence feels ideal for both casual and formal occasions, adding an authentic touch to my persona.
I used to love this fragrance, but it’s only went downhill from here. First of all, Dior continues to support an abuser as the face of this product, all while benefiting and profiting off of cultural appropriation by hiring the same actor to represent the product who claims he’s Indigenous with no evidence whatsoever. The product itself smells like roach spray to me, it’s overpowering and has become popular enough that I never want to smell it again because others overdo it. I can tell in public when someone is wearing Sauvage, and i’ve went from loving it to hating it because it burns my nostrils. I also hate the person who is the face of this product (he’s terrible if you do your research, so is this fragrance). If you enjoy this fragrance, people with asthma can ... This is such an elegant classy fragrance for modern times. If you love fougere scents as I do then you need to check this one out. It's a spicy, citrusy, masculine fragrance. It starts off citrusy followed by the vetiver which then becomes the prominent note. In the full dry-down that elemi note comes out which I think gives it that spiciness. Performance is decent as I get 7 to 8 hours on my skin with a couple of hours of projection. 👌🏼𝗘𝗮𝘂 𝗦𝗮𝘂𝘃𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟳 by 𝗗𝗶𝗼𝗿 is a Citrus Aromatic fragrance that was launched in 2017. It was created by François Demachy.Top notes are Citron, Bergamot, and Lavender. Middle note is Haitian Vetiver. Base note is Elemi.
