I started wearing these just about daily to step up my footwear by one notch. These Ecco's allow me to do just that. They work well with a simple style of jeans, including khakis, and a polo or casual button down. Very comfortable and I love that they are Gortex lined, so great in wet weather. I would buy these again. At the store, I was between two sizes and purchased the size that was snug on my feet. I wore them around the house that night to see if I could get used to the tight/snug feeling. I didn't like it after all and returned those. I went with a size larger from the online store and am happy I did. (By the way, the online had black and a size larger, while in-store only had brown - I wanted black anyway). Use as a golf shoe and play every day. It has never slipped, extremely comfortable & waterproof. It is better than $200 Premier FootJoy’s !! I have had the same boot for 25 years and never used it for golf Until a few months ago. Just got tired of spikes clogged with grass and leaking after 2 years! I’m a 10M golf shoe and have 44 ECCO.

I always know if I order a size 46 in ECCO shoes it will be a perfect fit! These boots are stylish and comfortable. If you have a wide foot, these may feel a little snug, but they are perfect for me. (When I wore dress shoes all the time, I wore a B width, but now I enjoy the comfort of a C or D - medium width.)

Incredible boots. I tried on like 15 pairs of Clark's shoes and boots; and then 3-4 other European mainstream middle-upper boot brands (pikolinos, rieker, some others) and found these Eccos to be head and shoulders above the rest. Easy to put on, verrrry comfortable (my very high arches are perfectly supported) and they look awesome! Like timeless traveler/ merchant boots that could've been expertly handcrafted in any century in recorded history. Wonderful shoes. Thank you again, Ecco. It all started with a love for your excellent sandals that I wore all over Europe for 5 weeks, walking 5-11 miles per day. You're the best!
I had a pair for about seven years. One of the most comfortable shoes I own. Super soft leather. They were still in great shape, but treated myself to a new pair anyway. I’m so glad I did. Very happy.

Hence I had to return it. Later, I ordered a different boot from ecco which I've so far found it very comfortable.Return experience: I've been purchasing ecco shoes online in the past 10+ years as a loyal ecco customer, and always a prepaid return label was included in the box. However, for my recent purchases, that does not seem to be the case since there was no prepaid return label in the box. Such a great shoe - it really is.Looks great and really comfortable!Impressed with the PU sole, so flexible and the shock point at the heal is helpful. Hoping the sole is durable as I want to wear them for a few years - and if they wear slowly then I think it’s unbeatable (will look to buy other ecco styles).This is clearly a 5 star shoe!!
This is the most awesome shoe to play golf in. I am a 3 Handicap golfer playing 200 rounds a year. It is very comfortable, water proof that never leaks, you don’t have to change shoes, and no spikes so they never get clogged with grass. My favorite shoes for golf, better than $200 FootJoy’s with clears that always get clogger with grass and slip!
I liked the shoes but am unable to wear them. Previous reviews said shoes run small but I disregarded and bought normal size. I thought they would break in but remain too tight. Could not exchange outright for bigger size, policy is to return and buy another pair. I had purchased shoes with a savings code. good shoe but buy bigger size.
They were OK in the shop, and I was fitted by the sales staff, but after wearing them to work a couple of times I've had to give up. I tried to solve it by purchasing ecco insoles with more support, and it helped a little but, but I still get foot and knee pain after half a day. I don't need orthotics in other shoes, so I don't have special feet, but these just don't work for me. Given the price of these shoes, plus upgraded insoles, I'm really disappointed.
