I used it every night regardless the spf. It nourishes the lips for some time, yes, but nothing special. In the morning they are dry again. Anyway I haven't found so far nothing that works for my dry lips apart from spreading raw honey as a mask.. I wish I find a good lip product cause honey is not practical and cosmetically pleasant. Also keep in mind that after some months this product expires (or it changes -what can I say). I hadn't used it for some time and when I reached for it, it ran everywhere when I press it. It had become liquid and runny. The applicator is ok, not bad.

The balm looks like a milky peach colour and I surely expected a milky film on my lips, but to my surprise it clearly transformed on my lips to a nice gloss-like finish. The thick milky balm turned to a light-weight, moisture-filled glossy balm, it felt too good on my lips.I usually apply this balm at night and don’t usually let anything near my lips , but when my little one gave a sweet kiss, I couldn’t resist, I gave her a kiss back and suddenly there was a cooling sensation on my lips which I have never felt with other lip balms. However dry your lips are, it gives instant hydration and moisturization without giving a heavy balmy like feeling. If you apply the balm moderately on your lips, it remains on your lips even in the morning with a dewy-like finish. I also applied it lightly on my lips to see how it performs and by morning it was fully absorbed and my lips were soft and supple. On certain days I don’t feel the need to apply a balm till evening but very rare days I feel a slight dryness by noon.It also helped in healing my lips, I had a dry sore along the corners of my lips and by next morning it was completely gone. This lip balm also has SPF 20 which is also quite rare in lip balms. The added sun protection factor is also a big bonus, along with protecting lips from dryness and flakiness it also gives protection from harmful UVA and UVB rays.

The consistency of ordinary hygienic lipstick (externally, but in more detail below). Looking at it, you can suspect that the balm itself is warm in color, that it will leave a tinted mark on the lips, but in fact it is transparent, although it cannot be called completely invisible. Transparent light shine - this is my external impression of him. The fragrance, initially slightly citrus-floral, it seems to me, has changed a little over time, but remained pleasant and unobtrusive. And in it I hear something from the smells of hygienic lipsticks very, very old (not by the shelf life in any case, but by time - as if from school youth). I like. Moreover, you need to listen too carefully to catch it. In fact, everything is neutral and very correct. My lips are dry (this often grows into a real problem, especially in winter), their skin is sensitive, which you can only put up with, having made friends with a considerable arsenal of hygienic lipsticks, balms, creams, because without them you can’t do anything at all. Elizabeth Arden Lip Balm came up and liked it. The effect. There is a feeling of real hydration and satiety from him, leaving, relieving inflammation, and soothing. After use, the skin of the lips becomes softer and more tender. To apply it is also very pleasant, comfortable. It seems to smooth and revitalize the skin of the lips, lying lightly and silky on it (here you understand that the consistency is actually different from many).

Amazing
20 June 2020

Honestly never leave reviews but I have to for this amazing product! Having read the reviews already for this I was like, this is gonna blow me away! Then it arrived... and it actually did. No lie the skin on my lips is constantly so dry because I’m addicted to Vaseline, you know the little pots you get in Penneys at the till? I always have to pick them up and they do not work, they just make your lips depend on them, during lockdown I couldn’t get any and when I tell you my lips were like 2 dehydrated slivers of things. And so sore! 2 days of using this and my lips are so soft and even a little bit plumper looking. This is honestly a holy grail product. I am never going to be without this in my life again.

The best lip balm ever. This product is so comfortable and nourishing and the benefits last for ages once applied. It doesn't feel claggy or like it is just masking your lips - it feels like it is penetrating and really working wonders. More pricey than your standard lip balms, but so worth it. I won't buy anything else

An SPF lipbalm without the sunscreen taste!
21 February 2020

I bought this a month ago and have been using it during the day before I go on lunchtime walks. I've been on the hunt for a good SPF lipbalm but have always been disappointed, as they ALWAYS give that horrible bitter sunscreen flavour that lingers in the mouth after application. However, this one does not!! It goes on quite thick, so you only need a little bit - but makes your lips feel protected without feeling too greasy. It is also not too thin so it does not slide everywhere - it's pretty much the perfect texture. The scent is not strong and quite pleasant. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for those who want sun protection without the horrible taste.

How much do I love this??!! I am on my third tube of it. I first tried it in Duty Free, and haven't been able to get enough of it since. It is so moisterising on the lips, gives a lovely shine, and - an essential for me - also has an SPF in it. I am outside alot in the sun on summer weekends, and this keeps my lips from drying out. I also love that - being clear - I don't even need a mirror to apply it!Yes, it is expensive, but a tube lasts me 6 months. My lips love this, and the tube fits into the tiniest purse. 10/10.

Good but not great

I read many reviews and was hoping this would be the miracle cure to dry lips in the winter. I chose to ignore the bad reviews as they were out weighed by good ones. I have found this product to work really well. When applied it has helped my dry lips and made them feel soft. The taste isn’t as bad as other good products and nowhere near as bad as people have reviewed. The only negative is this product doesn’t last 8 hours. I have to reapply every hour but when I do it does work. That is my only gripe. But if like me you have struggled with this issue for years reapplying every hour isn’t that big an issue when the product does work. I will definitely be buying this again. Great to have. Works really well.

Such a great lip balm. It’s an ointment and works just as well as the stick formula. This balm is moisturizing without leaving my lips sticky. Fits in any purse or pocket. And it’s genderless as far as packaging and scent so it is great for anyone in your family, even teenage boys or dads.

Super hydrating and nourishing balm

My lips had become very dry and were in not great condition through winter, they needed some tlc and more than an average lip balm. Elizabeth Arden is a trusted brand for me and I love the eight hour range so I bought the lip balm and am very happy with it. The handy tube makes it easy to use and just throw in my bag for touch ups. It has made a huge difference to my lips, they are hydrated, moisturised and look so much better, repaired and healthy. The lip balm leaves a nice shine which I love and it’s comfortable and light to wear and doesn’t go sticky, slippery or tacky. It’s packaged beautifully and even though it’s a little pricey it’s well worth the money if lips need extra protection and hydration.
