We have been using the 1 size smaller version of this board for the past several years and it has always been a pleasure to use. This large one is just as easy to use however you start to appreciate the just a little extra space you can have to do food prep without having to mess around with moving food. Great buy and awesome business to deal with

These little boards are a great value. They feel sturdy and well made, and don't seem to be hard on my knife edges like similar boards made of plastic or glass. They clean very easily, and seem as if they will last for a long time if well maintained. My only gripe is that they tend to slip and move during use. This is easily fixed by placing a rubber mat under the board, which I recommend if you're going to invest in one. I'm not sure I would choose one for my primary cutting board, but as a spare board or a swap-in cutting board for food preparation to avoid cross contamination of ingredients, I feel they are a great buy.Pros:Sturdy and durable feelVery smooth and easy to cleanNot damaging to knife edgesCons:Slips on smooth surfaces during useVerdict: I'm ... MoreThese little boards are a great value. Lightweight, extremely durable, kind to quality knives -- Epicurean boards are worth every penny, IMO. Just gave one as a gift and it was very well-received. As a side note, I agree with the reviewer who observed many of those giving this board low ratings are unreasonably fixated on superficial "scratches." I bought my first Epicurean board 10 years ago. With regular use, there are scratches BUT they are only on the surface. In contrast, my cheaper plastic boards have actual gouges and bits of plastic curling up around the edges of numerous cuts. So bottom line is that - to state the obvious - yes, you will see signs the wood surface has been used for cutting. However, that doesn't mean the board is low quality or defective. Best cutting board
9 March 2022

I love these cutting boards. It's the only type I buy now. I like how they don't get too scratched up or worn out. There's no indention made when chopping and cutting, which to me makes me happy to know risk of food matter, such as meat or chicken or pork juice getting in the grooves because there's no grooves. I do however still wash very good with hot soapy water.Just wished you all had more styles. I've seen one at world market store but it's the only one and there's a big scratch on it and yet they have the regular price on it. I'm waiting for them to discount it. Anyway, I only mention because I like the size and style of it, but I don't see it on your website. Are you supplying all options and styles to your customers?

Easy on knives

Still the best cutting boards. Lightweight. Easy on your knives. Dishwasher safe. Dishwasher safe is awesome and makes me feel safer since I cut raw meats and fish on it. The hole is very handy as I use it to grab out of my cupboard all the time. I just wish they would bring back the version with the silicon non-slip corner covers.

Epicurean - Fabulous Cutting Boards
22 October 2022

I purchased a small version of this cutting board a couple of years ago. It is such a wonderful product that I recently bought a larger size Epucurean. I truly love how solid they are, love the light weight compared to standard cutting boards of the same size, and they are thin - so don't take up very much space at all in my cabinet. A knife doesn't cut into the board - the surface remains solid. They easily wipe or wash clean. The light weight and thin board would be wonderful for arthritic hands. I highly recommend. I LOVE my boards.

Good replacement product for our old Ep. board
8 June 2022

We had a much used Epicurean cutting board for many years that finally started to show its age. The new ones are also well made, arrived quickly, and are already in use. This size is very handy for utility slicing and chopping. We also have a couple of much bigger Epicurean boards that get pulled out for heavy duty work.

Perfect cutting board!
21 December 2021

I have always loved these Epicurean cutting boards and needed to purchase an additional one. The one I had previously purchased allowed me to rest hot pots on it up to a certain degree. I didn’t see it on the description on this one, so I need to check if it will allow me to rest hot pots on it from the oven. In any case; I have always loved these boards as their perfect for cutting vegetables and other food items, and the one I purchased recently was the largest size which is working out really well.

They Last
4 July 2022

We've been running our Epicureans through the dishwasher for about ten years (no added heat) and they're finally showing signs of wearing out. They work. They last. The clean easy (by hand, too!). They're not the only boards we use, but we'll always have at least a pair of Epicureans floating around. If you're new to buying cutting boards or if you want a great housewarming gift, stop messing around and buy these.

The small ones are handy for fruit. I recently purchased a plastic cutting board from another well known brand and I regret it. I can hear the knife scrape/wobble against it when I cut and it's awful. Back to epicurean! I wasn't sure if the cutting boards at my local BBB are in fact epicurean because they're no longer stamped/embossed with the epicurean logo so I'm glad to see that epicurean are still available on the website. Please carry the large-medium size with the rubber corners again in stores!
