We purchased the ExPed Duo 10 for our five-month car camping trip across the country and continue to be impressed by how deeply comfortable and WARM this pad continues to be. The MegaMat has kept us warm on 40-degree Wyoming nights when other car camping pads on even warmer nights failed to keep us from shivering.We've camped a minimum 100+ nights and this pad continues to provide excellent sleep for both of 50+-year-old bodies. This mat GREAT.If you see the bad reviews about it not being thick enough they probably did not follow the directions because I'm 220lbs and my hip does not touch the ground when I sleep on my side. You need to fill it up before your trip (read the inductions). We really like these for our little Class C motorhome. Not big enough for a real mattress, our motorhome has room for a single bed on each side. The shorter MegaMat fits one side and the longer and slightly wider the other side. Space and weight are important too and we tried all the standard air mats before with mixed results. These have flat surfaces and some insulation so they seem more like regular beds to us. Even getting 30% off these are still far too expensive. Buy them on sale and with member discounts, and swallow hard if you really need something that sleeps well and rolls up reasonably small. Buy a hot tub or small pool so you can check for any air leaks if you aren’t very careful. It’s still far too much weight to backpack with but perfect for an SUV, hatchback, or motorhome. Quality seems good. You will have many laughs over the air pump they have included. Buy a little Coleman type pump that runs on 4 “D” batteries and you will have a better time filling and dumping air from these. Don’t overfill. They allude to these filling themselves up. Don’t count on that.

It took me one or 2 attempts to figure out the pump as I had not used one like that before, and the pumps are much slower than blowing it up with your mouth, but there is no extra humidity involved. So, for this, i give the pad an "A"Air retention/seal quality: This unfortunately is a full on "F". We have 2 of these. and on a 2 day trip mine was empty on the second day. I had thought that I had just not inflated it enough so I started to test them at home. It is not just me or my size, I have one that I am not laying on, and after a couple of days it also deflates.Sleep quality after deflating: well, its better than nothing, it is a pad after all. its not desirable, its big, its expensive.Overall, I cannot give this more than 3 stars or a "C". I wanted to love this product, I saw it in store and my eyes glowed, I saw the stars of comfort. There are other products out there that have solid twist knob closures that seal better. I am going to try one of those if I can get a 4 inch thick version.
