This is the 4th product I've bought to try and bring my outdoor setting back to life. Each time I've rubbed it back for it to have little to no impact. This product however saw an instant improvement in one coat and remarkable difference in two. Only disappointment was I wasn't directed to it sooner.

I use this on all my outdoor engraved timber signs that I've been making for over 25 years and send all over Australia. Easy to apply - is clear so is applied, also into engravings which are usually infilled with black acrylic paint. Top quality for my quality signs which I'm well known for across Australia.

The information here is not correct and is different from website. The clear oil is not suitable for furniture exposed to the sun outside. Has no UV protection and the ones with tint have to be used for UV protection. The oil will give a good finish but it is misleading to claim it is for outdoor furniture when it can’t be exposed to the sun.

This is a good quality product. I have used this furniture oil for at least 15 years and recently purchased another one. It hasn't changed in that time. I've always used a cloth to apply it but you will still get some on the floor so have good protection underneath. Unless you are using it on perfect condition furniture, I don't see the need to do much, or any, cleaning. Be careful if sanding the furniture as you might create light spots.
Gives the timber a beautiful finish. Be prepared to do all the prep work if you want a great finish. Use deck cleaner and then guerney it off. Time consuming? Yes but we’ll worth the effort.
I bought a can of this sometime ago from Bunnings. The can said ‘jarrah’ but the colour was too orange. I then bought a second can to finish off and since then, the product had a new photo on the van, but same product code, so one would assume it is exactly the same thing.Unfortunately this was not the case. The original product had an acceptable traditional timber oil smell. The new new ‘jarrah’ product wi the the same product code but different can has a totally different dark brown colour, and a stinky unbearable smell similar to diesel.
It is not Teak Outdoor Furniture Oil (ie: furniture oil for teak)... it is furniture oil... with teak colouring. the label is misleading. If you are oiling your teak furniture, and want it to look like teak, use clear oil. Teak stain on teak furniture makes it really really dark.
We originally put this on 5 years ago per instructions. The quick time before 1st and 2nd coat was the draw card and the rich colour lasted much longer than 12 months with covered pergola (exposed from 3 sides). We recently had some time @ home and decided to re-stain. While the prep work was a bit more tedious (light sanding to remove some arts and crafts paint stains by kids followed by the standard deck wash) the actual application remained a breeze. Minimal clean-up was achieved by disposing of the $12 applicator pad rather than bother turping it clean for re-use in next 3 to 5 years.
I have used this product extensively. Yes it has a blue/purple tinge to it but this counteracts the yellow that treated pine can throw when exposed to the sun. I have used it on sleepers, posts and decking, H3 and H4 and very happy with the results. The blue/purple tinge fades and you are left with beautiful weathered looking timber. I suggest asking at the paint counter to have the tin agitated as this lifts the tint off the bottom of the can and makes it easier to stir through at home. I have not found this product sticky at all, it absorbs well and actually removed some of the sap stickiness on the sleepers. I wanted a pale coastal look and this oil achieved that.
Wow what a product. Decking stains and oils is the rabbit hole you never get out of.Put in a merbau deck, done the watering of said deck for the 4-6 weeks. I was really hesitant to put anything on it because of the lovely colour of the wood already. After a lot of Google research and checking the reviews this was the product I went with as I didn’t find one complaint about it turning the wood a yellow colour. I must note, it’s really important to go around and wipe the excess off after an hour which is what I did. I brought a 10 litre drum for a 62m2 deck and it used less than half so there is a lot of coverage in one drum.I cannot comment on how it’ll wear after 6 months but based on coverage of the tin I’ll have enough for the next couple of years
