While visiting Germany I bought the Metallic leather Arizona Soft footbed in the narrow (which is US Regular “B” or medium width). It fit perfectly. However, this new pair in the suede, the footbed width runs a bit more narrow & snug. The straps fit nicely. Look for the foot icon inside the sandal. If the foot icon is solid the width is a bit narrow. If the foot icon is an outline it will be a wide fit. The length of the Footbed was true to size. I am sure it will give & conformity my foot due to the nature of the suede insole suede and cork bottoms.

I find. Birkenstocks to be rigid and uncomfortable. I bought a pair last year and hardly wore them because of the hard plastic they use to go in between your toes. So when I bought a new pair the other day I returned them a day later thinking “why spend more $ on a bad product”. I don’t get why their so popular when they are so uncomfortable

These sandals are so cute and comfortable! I like that they pair well with casual clothing and can pass as cute with an outfit that's a little more refined. It takes a while to break into them (1week for me), but after that, they're perfect!#sweepstakes
I purchased these for my husband because I have loved my Birkenstocks for so long, and he finally gave it and said he would wear a pair. The leather straps on these shoes are terrible. The edges are painful, they are very stiff, and they are not soft like all of my Birkenstock sandals. If this is the new quality of what these sandals are now, I would never recommend them to anyone.
I should have ordered one size larger as the pair I received were snug towards the tips of my toes. Otherwise I love these sandals and can't wait to exchange for the larger size which I should have ordered in the first place but my other pair of Birkenstock sandals were the smaller size. Super comfortable sandals and they go with anything!
I used to love these sandals, and a pair would normally last for several years under normal wear during the summer months. My last two pairs have only lasted me one season, with the footbed coming apart from the sole, along with one of the straps completely coming off on the outside. So disappointing because they've always been my go-to sandal. Quality of these has gone down significantly over the years.
This is my very first pair of Birkenstocks. What an amazing pair of sandals! I've been suffering from plantars fasciitis for about 6 months. I'd read that the Arizona sandals were helpful in healing from it. I've had my sandals for 3 days and I've seen a big improvement! I wear them throughout the day at home and when out and about. I liked them so much i bought a pair of Arizona Eva yesterday to wear when i work in my yard. I now wear Birkenstock Arizonas all day.
These sandals rock. I’ve always had thong sandals and wore rainbows primarily. My girlfriend has always had Birkenstocks but I’ve been hesitant to get a pair myself. Finally after over a year I agreed to give them a try and I wish I had sooner. They take a few days to break in and can be uncomfortable at first. I highly recommend wearing socks until so you don’t get blisters the first few days. Once they have been broken in they are great tho. I will still keep my rainbows simply because these aren’t Waterproof and can get destroyed at the beach but other than that they are my new primary sandal.
REI is the absolute best. What happened to Birkenstock? I bought 4 pairs of Birkenstocks for my family and 2 pairs are coming apart within a month. I've now ordered 3 pair of Birkenstocks for myself and I've had to send them all back. Glue everywhere. Leather totally discolored brand new. Sole is coming off of a pair I never even put my foot in. Actually I have yet to put my foot in any of them. Sole and corkbed are not aligned. The list goes on and on. Years ago I had a used pair that lasted me for 10 straight years. Just sad. Again, not REI's fault. REI is the best!
