Great helmet. Very light and feels airy with its multiple vent system. Fit was a little off for me unfortunately. I’m a large size in a Smith Forefront. I initially ordered a large and found that it fit super well from the sides and around my temples but I wasn’t able to ratchet the system down far enough to fully tighten it around my head. I then ordered a size medium but had to cut down some of the Velcro padding near my temples as it really pressed down and started aching after about 30 min. Those of you in between helmet sizes be wary that the large doesn’t get small enough and the medium is a bit tight around the temples if you have a round head.

Helmet looks nice. Few things you should be aware. The helmet does not have pads in the back. It does not make it comfortable. My Troy Lee Design have a nice pad in the back. Secondly, this helmet is made for an oval head. If you have a round head I will say look a Troy Lee Design, Kask MTB Version, or others. I wish I could return it.

Blown away by all aspects of this helmet. Trick progressive features like magnetic strap clip and no hassle, lower straps. Incredibly light. I sweat a bunch and not only is this helmet a great weight, it manages the perspiration better than any other I've used. Coming from top of the line Bell and Smith, Fox is now the preferred.
Really nice lid. Bought to upgrade from my old flux. I had the older flux and liked the shape but the newer flux just seemed bulky. Then the speedframe pro came out and i had to have one. The mips and fidlock are great. The shape and comfort is top notch. Encompasses the head nicely and feels secure. Colour options also pretty good.
I never thought that a shape of a head mattered. I just assumed you measure the circumference and get the appropriate size. However, I guess I have an Asian head, and the helmet was pressing against my temples and back of the head. I was trying to bear through it, but it just wasn't comfortable. You should try it before you buy it. I made the mistake by not trying it first
I shopped around quite a bit before landing on the speed frame pro. Only have worn it a few times so far but in hot and cool temperatures. The helmet is lightweight, almost forget you're wearing it. And the front vents keep air flowing when you start to heat up on the trail. Love the fidlock buckle. Would definitely recommend.
I'm on the smallest adjustment with the large, so I tried a medium. The medium was to small, as in the shell of the helmet was hitting my head in the back and thats with the adjuster maxed out..Had to return for this reason. I ended up buying the large from Jenson USA because they would send it next day to my house in California and they didn't have a medium in the beginning. The prices were the same from both companies.Ultimately I lost my shipping money sending it back to Fox. I wish they had the 1 return rule for fitment like Rocky Mountain ATV for instance.
Overall, the helmet is great. I upgraded from a Bell Super 3r and the weight and venting in my opinion is about the same.I love the slender appearance of the speedframe and the comfort of the straps. My only gripe is with the visor. The visor pivot is mounted higher on the top of the helmet, and the visor itself isn’t long. When you wear the helmet, you don’t even see a majority of the visor even if it’s in the most downward position. The annoying thing I notice is that when wearing sunglasses, there’s a sliver of sunlight that gets to your eyes between my glasses and visor. Also, another gripe with the visor, it’s in a slightly different color and texture than the rest of the helmet, what gives? The visor could have benefited from a little more R&D.
Small design flaw. The dial on the back presses right against the nub/bump at the base of the skull. This device, at least on my son's head, should be slightly higher or lower and/or should have some padding so its not a solid piece of plastic pressing into your head. Otherwise seems like a quality helmet. Loved the look, shame it didn't fit well.
