First, I want to say that I use this slightly differently than suggested. If you give it enough time between waking up & makeup application; it won't pill under your makeup- at least it hasn't for me and I like to play with multiple different formulations of primers etc. It's just thick enough to give dry skin instant relief yet it's very emollient so a little goes a long way; even on skin I've just toned with a generous application of a powerful Glycolic & Lactic Citrus toner. The texture is quite thick and heavy feeling initially - but once o hit my head around this and remembered that it is a mask and supposed to feel like that, it was ok.After waking in the morning I realised my skin did actually look improved. The very first time I used it I slathered it on because it said it’s a mask so I thought it was one you slap on then wash off. Boy oh boy was I wrong! You genuinely need the smallest amount because it’s so beautifully thick but not too thick an oily skin gal can’t use it. I have oily skin but due to the colder months it’s now combination and even on my oily T zone it doesn’t look oily at all. I usually use it at night. It’s so so gentle on the skin. I expected it to give me little breakouts in the morning because of the thickness but that didn’t happen at all. It’s like a massive drink for your skin. I’m not surprised it’s so pricey but I definitely recommend it. It’s such a treat for your skin and definitely something worth splurging into. The packaging is also a beautiful lilac colour and the product is also tinged very very slightly with the colour too. I’m very grateful to Space NK for giving me the opportunity to try it. I will definitely be using it sparingly because I just don’t want to finish it it’s so good!
