I have chronically low levels of vitamin C but also have Crohn’s disease in my stomach, which made it very hard to get adequate amounts of bioavailable vitamin C without completely wrecking my gut. Enter Quali-C, which is a pure form of ascorbic acid from Scotland (not China). So no corn derivatives or for people with histamine issues fermented corn products. It doesn’t bloat or give me that dreaded acidic feeling. Amazing for your immune system, histamine levels and generally all good things for your body. The container lasts forever too! I usually take magnesium malate or glycinate in powder form but figured I'd give this "Whole Food Magnesium" version a try this time. The taste is great and effects seem to work just as good. I just put 1 heaping teaspoon in a 1/3rd bottle of warm water and shake it up and chug it down and it also tastes good. 85% of people are defiencet in magnesium due to our food supply so basically EVERYONE should be taking at least 1 teaspoon of this daily/nightly. I take it at night as it is supposed to help you relax and sleep better. Give it a try if your more of a "whole food" type of person. It seems to work just as well as the magnesium malate I usually take.

I accidentally bought this for my 6 yo son, but it has turned out to be great for him. I add a tiny amount - probably 1/16th of a teaspoon or less to a little bit of water and let it dissolve, then add juice. My son is usually constipated due to lack of fiber and water in his diet, and this helps keep things moving. The orange flavor is pleasant, and I appreciate that the magnesium is food-derived. My son doesn’t seem to notice the taste. I do wish they would say what type it is on the label (citrate, malate, etc). I think this is a good quality product. Recommend!
