The scent is better than I expected, it’s legit watermelon but not aggressive and not synthetic smelling. This isn’t the most hydrating for my dry skin so definitely only a summer moisturizer, but I really enjoyed using this in my morning routine and as a first step in sandwiching retinol. ❓Will I repurchase ❓ Not right now, I have a lot of others to use up and with winter coming it won’t be enough. I’d say this would be perfect for people with combo/oily skin or who live in warmer climates. As an introduction to the brand I’m quite impressed, and I’ll be picking up the PHA + BHA toner to try out next! ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5 $28/25 ml at Sephora (not the most affordable hence the slightly lower rating)

Pumping this formula into the tips of my fingers, I realized that the consistency is sort of like a close cousin to the niacinamide dew drops, although this product in particular is much lighter and less viscous. The smell is so heavenly, and is the same great smell we all love from the other watermelon products. Blending this onto the skin after applying my serum was an incredibly soothing and nourishing experience. Since this is a lightweight, silky formula, it is best suited for combination to oily skin. I tend to have the former, and found the absorption to be quite rapid for a moisturizer of such potency on my combo skin. A little goes a long way with this product, and I did notice a sort of delayed moisturizing affect after application. Even though it absorbs quickly, it is very much still present in the skin and provides a sustained level of hydration for an impressive amount of time. Hours later, my plumped, hydrated skin still holds up. This cooling, gel emulsion formula consists of watermelon extract, hyaluronic acid, and the divine extracts of jasmine and, my personal favorite, peony flower! Do yourself a favor and hop on this one, stat!

I fell in love with Glow Recipe products the moment I tried their Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA toner. Watermelon has become a new popular ingredient in skincare and it’s one of my favs. Watermelon is not only hydrating but rich in amino acids as well. It also includes Hyaluronic acid, jasmine peony extracts which soothe the skin and also one of my favorite skincare ingredients Licorice Root Extract. It brightens, helps get rid of discoloration, calms inflammation and soothes the skin as well. I love that this is a lightweight gel texture moisturizer that just sinks into my skin making it automatically look more dewy and supple. Amazing light moisturizer for dry sensitive skin

For context, I've been using this moisturizer all summer. I purchased the mini watermelon moisturizer and have used almost the entire bottle. I have dry, sensitive, acne prone skin and I had tried different creams and such to bring moisture back to my skin but nothing was really working. I use 1-1.5 pumps of this moisturizer twice daily and it has made a huge difference in my skin texture. Before I had patches of dryness which affected my foundation application but not anymore. Yes it's a gel moisturizer so it's not a heavy moisturizer but it does compliment other products, NO pilling when used with other products and my skin is more glowy now! Highly recommend I will be repurchasing once I run out and will be trying other Glow Recipe products.

One might think with a light and the consistency of this that it wouldn't do much. I know those were my initial thoughts when I first tried the product. With my severely dry skin how could something so light possibly provide me with the level of moisture my skin desperately needs?Boy was I proven wrong. It went on smoothly soaked in leaving my skin feeling soft & moisturized. It even glowed. Any other moisturizer disks in & feels like I never put anything on unless I layer it on. I don't have to do that with this. Saved my Combo Skin from Desert Dryness

I have always had combination skin and would suffer the occasional breakout. But my issue was always during wintertime, when my skin would get so dry and flaky/patchy. If I used light moisturizers, they wouldn't do enough. If I used heavier creams, etc., they would clog up my skin. On a whim, I bought this and in the middle of a Colorado winter (dry, dryer, and cold, colder), and within two days, the patchiness and flakiness were gone. Furthermore, my skin felt soft, supple, and firm -- it was really a miracle. Since then, I've been using this product religiously -- even in humid summers. It really keeps my skin in check no matter what. And in combination with the eye cream and serums, this product layers effortlessly and never gets cakey or flaky, etc.

I can't say it reduces redness though (at first I felt like it did, but not so much anymore, but for the smell, the moisturizing/softness, brightness and glow, I do love this!)As for that dermatitis issue of severe dryness I was having when I started with this product, within a week it went away with this serum! Granted I also switched the facial cleanser I was using, but the combo I think really helped and this is now one of my favorite products to use in my skin care routine.

As I had never used any glow recipe products, I did order both this and the plum plump moisturiser in the smaller sizes along with the full sized watermelon toner (which I also recommend). I absolutely LOVE the formula. on most days this is all I need for my skin to feel really moisturised and glowy (they don't lie in the name!). The strange thing is, prior to using this, I always thought I had pretty well moisturised face but I guess not! This doesn't sit on your skin, it seeps in and plumps. My skin is so soft and calm. I have pretty sensitive skin and I have been normally using the Belif creams for moisturizer but was getting a bit bored of my skin care ritual & wanted to shake things up. I really do love Glow Recipes packaging- it’s always good quality and sturdy, lotions come with pumps that don’t quit on you so that’s a bonus! The scent is beautiful, it’s a very light watermelon whiff- perfect to wake yourself up on a summer morning. The lotion is very light and a little goes a long way. It doesn’t leave an oily feeling and it’s not a thick lotion so it doesn’t feel heavy. However, after you first apply it, it does seem to stay a bit “tacky” on the skin, almost sticky.
