Gorilla Glue is a polyurethane glue. When exposed to moisture, the adhesive reacts and creates a foaming action that fills whilst it sticks. Gorilla Glue has an open working time of 20 minutes. The glue is brown in colour, but dries a tan colour, and is totally waterproof. Gorilla Glue is incredibly strong, bonding all types of wood, including pressure treated wood. It also bonds stone, metal, ceramics, foam, glass, leather and more. Once dried the product is sandable, stainable, paintable and can also take a varnish. Due to its foaming action the glue gives greater coverage up to 3 times the coverage of other glues. This glue is unaffected by extreme hot and cold and will not break down when exposed to rain and snow. The Gorilla Glue formula bonds materials that typical all purpose adhesives will not hold, including wood, stone, metal ceramics, glass, foam and even bonds dissimilar materials. It is waterproof and temperature resistant, which means it can be used for indoor and outdoor projects and repairs. Originally used as a commercial adhesive for hard to glue materials. Once something is glued it will not come undone it is set to survive years after the repair.

Been an electrician I don’t normally use wood glue however my daughter broke a spindle on her bed so it was time to turn Carpenter.I went for Gorilla Glue firstly because it’s well branded and I have also used a few other products from them that have worked wellThe packaging/ bottle was well designed and I managed to get the bed fixed in record time with no mess.It didn’t take long before it was set and now the repair is stronger that ever.Quality adhesive from a quality company and a reasonable price.

I have tried many types of glue, but found this one the easiest to use, and very strong and secure. better than normal pva woodglue, or synthetic woodglue. Easier to use than Hide-glue. initial tack is rapid enough.I will now not use any other glue for my Ukuleles that I make.

Great product, food safe and I have not found a better glue for bonding my wooden projects. You can unclamp in 20 minutes which is a brilliant attribute, cleans up well and never had a failure.
An easy glue to apply due to the nozzle shape. Begins to set quite quickly but allows enough time to spread it over area if required. Achieves good bond once pressure applied. Easy to clean up spills.
Bought to apply beading to furniture. It was easy to use and I love that it can reseal once finished.Although the beading didn't stick as well as hoped, probably more due to the material I was sticking it on to, the final product was great. Just need to not put any unnecessary pressure on the beading. Will be much better with the correct wood
Tried many wood glues over the years but for the last few years I've settled on this one. Great adhesion, excess wipes of well & has a nifty little cap which stops clogging & drying up. Usually buy couple of 1ltr bottles at a time from b&a who seem to have ample stock each time.
I have been using this glue for a few years now and cannot fault it. It produces a very strong bond that is stronger than the wood and is easy to apply and wipe clean with a damp cloth. You need to make sure the components are held together via a clamp or screw or heavy weight etc while drying. I use the glue also on other materials that are absorbent.
I have ordered this product many times, it keeps in good condition for many weeks. There is plenty of time to apply the product and arrange the parts before the glue sets. Any surplus glue can be removed with a damp cloth.
The jury is out on this. Yes it sticks and sticks well, eventually. The open time and therefore clamping time seems to be longer than a quality PVA at comparable temperatures. Time will tell if its as good as what it says.
