The sleek cap, in polished silver metal, goes well with the soft pink shade of the Gucci Bamboo perfume bottle. Shiny silver G’s representing the brand distinctly frame the packaging box that reprises the colors of the bottle.Gucci Bamboo doesn’t do anything special in this department.Like other perfumes on the market, the lasting power of this perfume is reasonable but not quite good enough. Gucci Bamboo sits awfully close to the skin only after a couple of hours and you will have to reapply a few times during the day.

Ulta was having a Gift with Purchase sale, if you bought a full size Gucci perfume you would be gifted a pink silk Gucci makeup bag. I’ve never smelt a Gucci perfume before this purchase but really wanted the bag and a new fragrance to wear. So I looked at the reviews they had in the app for each fragrance that was included in the offer and chose Gucci Bamboo based off those. This is such a heavenly summer floral. Not powdery or cloying, a hint of citrus but nothing too sharp, and with enough depth to last as an ambery skin scent after a few hours. Overall, fragrance doesn’t last as long as I’d like, but it’s an EDT. The bottle is a simple, elegant luxury. Atomizer mist is very fine, the glass bottle is heavy and like a carved jewel, and the bamboo-shaped cap is lovely. The cap doesn’t hold the weight of the bottle - don’t pick it up off your tray by the cap or you’ll drop it. Will repurchase once I am out.

The last few bottles I have purchased are florals, so I'm trying something new. I recently bought Miss Dior EDP, and now this. This is a really fresh pretty scent. It smells like fresh out of the shower clean, but not soapy. It has notes of ylang, ylang, vanilla, musk, bergamot, orange blossom, pear, jasmine, and several other notes. It is very inoffensive, and it is a safe scent to wear around others as the scent trail is very soft and super feminine. This is far from a screeching floral. Beautiful and long lasting

Beautiful and long lasting scent for sure! I’m surprised by some of the reviews saying this doesn’t last long! For me, it definitely does… it’s a soft, fresh, lightly floral & has a hint of sweetness. It leaves a nice scent trail for the first several hours. This is one that I can smell on my skin all day, not all perfumes last well on the skin. The dry down is really nice and where I pick up on a nice slight sweetness to my nose. I’d definitely go and try it on the skin to see how you feel. I definitely get complaints on this one as well:)

Bottle and Gucci packaging looks real, but No

I’m not sure if this is like the perfumes that you would buy at Ulta or Macy’s, because even after I sprayed the fragrance the smell was gone in 15 minutes. And I sprayed it very heavily on my arm at three different times during the day. Also, I feel like the one I got from Ulta lasted way longer and the smell was more vibrant. So, next time, I’ll probably just buy it from a big box store instead. I’ve bought other cheaper fragrances from Walmart and they were exactly the same, but this one I don’t feel was worth the money just because the smell did not last more than 15 minutes.However, on a good note, the shipping was very quick, and the fragrance looks exactly like it should. Great product, great engraving, HUGELY expensive gift wrap!

OK, this arrived next day delivery, even with the personalised engraving, very impressive. The fragrance is lovely.BUT! the gift wrapping, at £3.99 for a 20cm square of paper and a bit of glue, was way overpriced. Convenient yes, but NOT good value! Felt a bit cheated. Not even a bow or ribbon, just the paper.

Gucci Bamboo smells absolutely amazing. The fragrance is one of the longest lasting fragrances I've ever purchased. It will still smell on clothing for days after the initial application. The current sale price is absolutely amazing too. Thanks to the perfume shop.

Lovely product, which I would buy again

I bought this scent as a gift for my mum. Using the recommendations from The perfume Shop, by saying which perfumes mum liked, they suggested Gucci Bamboo. It is a lovely light scent which my mum loves, and so do I! The bottle is beautiful too! The product was on offer, so the price was excellent. I would definitely recommend and may well buy myself some as well.
