I did an exhibition earlier with this paper, the owner of the place and I choose it together because it was "bringing life to my works" in the words of William. Now that I have a professional printer I decided to give it a try at home and I am amazed once again with the extra dimension this paper gives to mi images.

This is my all time favorite paper even since I was introduced to it 10 years ago. With the Canon Lucia ink and the ipf5100, I get absolutely beautiful reproduction results. The paper holds down and saturates the colors beautifully. Crisp details. A bonus is the prints come out of the roll pretty much flat unlike some paper which takes days to flatten out.

I use Hahnemuhle's German Etching to print rich, exhibition-quality black and white photos on my epson 4900. The ICC profile and related information provided on Hahnemuhle's website product support supplies you with everything you need to know to create the perfect print every time. I love the dense pigment saturation and bright highlights on this velvet finish art-weight paper. It allows you to create dynamic and lush digital prints. Just remember to protect the surface of your print afterwards.

I have just completed a series of fine art photomontages for a show. They are painterly, somewhat abstract images and I wanted a texture, particularly to show thru in the whites, to add to the painterly impression. I also wanted the best color reproduction I could get in a textured paper. This paper met my requirements better than any other of the many samples I ran. The blacks in particular are unbelievably rich and deep. Too soon to tell about longevity, but HFA seems to have a good rep in that area. Expensive but highly recommended.
This is always my go to paper for a final image, varnished and mounted without glass. The quality in that final images always impresses the client and they regularly return for more artworks.
Very good weight and flatness. Using an Epson SC-P800 printer and an Adobe RGB VDU, the settings that gave a very good gamut & contrast match for watercolour artwork was:Profile SC-P800 Canvas Satin: Driver Ultra Premium Presentation Matte: Relative CalorimetricThe Hahnemuhle German Etching print profile gave a number of colours "out of gamut".
When I first began to print my own work, over ten years ago, I tried many of the first fine art papers that were then available. Hahnemule's German etching Board easily became my paper of choice both for it's texture and color rendition. I've never considered anything else since. Is makes my work beautiful.
Just print about 300 11x14 prints.Colors were great, no flaking.
I use this paper to print my fine art photographs which make for a much richer presentation and finished piece. Working in the art world for so long, I've been told not to stray from the standard methods of printing photographs, but standard is not how I create. The quality and richness of this paper surpasses anything else I've used.
This cotton rag paper is the top shelve of cotton papers.Heavy textured and thickness you can feel.Works best with originals that were watercolor painted, but also can be used with digital designs. The only con is the tension that it takes to roll this paper on the tube leave it curled with the finished print. You will have to de roll it and use a deroller that is 3 inches in diameter or wider.
