Appearance:authenticPerformance:goodQuality:goodThis is repeated order. I’m satisfied with the filter papers - it’s authentic. Once I bought some that was imitation hario-the thickness, Color and performance were not not as good as these. Will buy from this seller once they are used up. I bought 4 packs, each 100 pieces for Hario 02 dropper.

I’ve been alternating between the original boxed and new factory filters and I’m extremely happy with both. I have 2 filter coffees everyday and I keep telling myself to experiment with other brands but when I have these brews so dialled in it’s difficult. I can’t see reason to switch! If you’re reading reviews to make a decision this is your sign to add your cart and taste the amazing quality yourself!

I have been using these filter papers for some time and have found them very efficient. I was surprised when my latest order arrived, that they were a larger size, 1 to 4 cups. I assumed that 1 was repeating my previous orders for 3 bags of 100 1 to 2 cup size filter papers. They still work of course, but are too big!

JOSH! He's a handsome gentleman, great at his job. Made my experience with alternative brewing fast, easy and seamless. He deserves a raise! l definitely will be back! Cheers Josh ya bloody legend.
Made in Japan, so it's probably good stuff, I'm not experienced enough to really compare taste vs the Timemore brand papers that came with the Timemore Crystal Eye dripper, but both seem to work nicely. I think for that brewer (the smaller version, but also worked on the larger 2-4 cup version) these fit pretty good but not as perfect as the Timemore ones, these might be just a tiny bit too small, leaving one part that doesn't contact the brewer. Not sure if that's a big deal though.Update: Dropped 1 star after doing a comparison, dropped another star for possible inconsistenciesI've been enjoying these on their own but when compared with a bunch of other paper filters I found these seemed to lose out more often than others. You can get good results but better results with other filters. People complain these stall, I don't think I had too many issues with that or I ground coarse enough and compensated for it (less pours / agitation). My fav filters for Light roast coffee in V60 is Kinto and maybe also the Oragami (by Cafec) filters both of which happen to have cotton fiber blends.I've also heard there's different versions of these which are very different filters. There's the Euro versions which have an odd / stronger filtery taste and may flow slower and stall more. The Tabbed ones in a bag may be different from the Tabbed in a box.... it's confusing and inconsistent so that lost a star.Although these ones I tested steeping the filter on its own and the filter taste was not bad, it's a pleasant woody sweet taste, I think they actually did better than the Flat bottom Kalita wave filters did which weren't 'bad' tasting either but had a stronger taste. With normal coffee use though I think even without rinsing the filters you won't taste the paper. With some coffees you might think you're tasting a papery note but it's more the coffee than the filter, I've had that when cupping a coffee (no paper at all)!
I bought this as a gift for someone who is used to only drinking French press. From what I've heard, they are enjoying it very much and are making V60 a lot more often now because of the oily and full bodied results this filter produces. They also claim that the cups are a lot cleaner with less sediment, allowing the flavours to shine through better than brewing French press. Keep in mind, their grinder produces a lot of fines, which likely contributes to the French press being a little gritty. Again, this was a gift and I am only going off of what I have heard, but I intend to buy some soon to try out myself!
I had been told not to buy the 100 pack as the filters were not made the same as the 40 pack. I figured how bad can at be and the 40 pack was sold out so tried these out. They add on average 1 minute on drawdown times regardless of the method affecting the taste of the end cup. I find coffees more bitter and cups not as clean. If I had started out with the 100 packs I probably wouldn’t know any better but doing back to back cups, with all parameters the same: the cup isn’t as good. Will probably end up tossing these or keeping them in case of emergency. Lol
