In the pursuit of good coffee! I tried this product. Not bad actually! Takes more time than French Press and requires good Filter paper. So I got Extra. I am using it as final filter for my French Press. In any case give it a try. Order arrived as scheduled well packed and in good order, as specified The set isadr in Japan and is well worth the price. Product and Seller are recommended. Thank you Seller.

These paper filters work very nicely. Excellent fit. The filter material is thin and strong. The drip time seems to be the same as that of other filters I’ve used. One feature I particularly appreciate is the small tab on the top edge that makes opening the filter easy. I’ve purchased other brands that seems to stick closed. The material and the tab make for easy opening. I did not notice any taste from the filter. Although I don’t think my taste is that refined.

I have been using these filter papers for some time and have found them very efficient. I was surprised when my latest order arrived, that they were a larger size, 1 to 4 cups. I assumed that 1 was repeating my previous orders for 3 bags of 100 1 to 2 cup size filter papers. They still work of course, but are too big!

Made in Japan, so it's probably good stuff, I'm not experienced enough to really compare taste vs the Timemore brand papers that came with the Timemore Crystal Eye dripper, but both seem to work nicely. I think for that brewer (the smaller version, but also worked on the larger 2-4 cup version) these fit pretty good but not as perfect as the Timemore ones, these might be just a tiny bit too small, leaving one part that doesn't contact the brewer. Not sure if that's a big deal though.Update: Dropped 1 star after doing a comparison, dropped another star for possible inconsistenciesI've been enjoying these on their own but when compared with a bunch of other paper filters I found these seemed to lose out more often than others. You can get good results but better results with other filters. People complain these stall, I don't think I had too many issues with that or I ground coarse enough and compensated for it (less pours / agitation). My fav filters for Light roast coffee in V60 is Kinto and maybe also the Oragami (by Cafec) filters both of which happen to have cotton fiber blends.I've also heard there's different versions of these which are very different filters. There's the Euro versions which have an odd / stronger filtery taste and may flow slower and stall more. The Tabbed ones in a bag may be different from the Tabbed in a box.... it's confusing and inconsistent so that lost a star.Although these ones I tested steeping the filter on its own and the filter taste was not bad, it's a pleasant woody sweet taste, I think they actually did better than the Flat bottom Kalita wave filters did which weren't 'bad' tasting either but had a stronger taste. With normal coffee use though I think even without rinsing the filters you won't taste the paper. With some coffees you might think you're tasting a papery note but it's more the coffee than the filter, I've had that when cupping a coffee (no paper at all)!
These are very good filters. I realize now that you need the medium for the Hario dripper I purchased. Once you figure out how much coffee & which grind, suits you, this makes a superior one-cup pour-over coffee. The Breville Precision came with the pour over kit (Thanks SCG folks) so, that?s how I prepare it. One tip for using the Hario is to make sure it is warmed up. I don?t know if it is microwave safe but the porcelain is always cooler than room temperature. Anyway, if pour-over is your deal, these filters are perfect for a good cup.
This product by far makes the worst coffee I've ever had. I've been making my own pour overs at home for years and have used paper, cloth and other metal filters, and none of them leave as much sediment in the coffee and filter as poorly as this item. I reached out to customer service about it, and they acknowledged that the mesh filter sizes may differ on the filters, and then proceeded to suggest I change my grind, pour speed, and pour method, rather than actually offering to do anything about the product. Their response was they don't accept refunds or returns on used products, which is ridiculous when your product was poorly designed, not fit for purpose, and can't be tested unless it is used. Don't waste your money.
