The HOKA Challenger ATR 7 GTX is an all-round trail shoe for the neutral runner. The Challenger ATR 7 GTX is the seventh version of HOKA's All Terrain series. The versatile shoes are designed for running on different surfaces, from asphalt to trails. The shoes also offer protection against different weather conditions. What are the updates? This shoe has become lighter while the sole thickness has been increased. In addition, the upper is made with more recycled materials but maintains breathability. The stud profile has been given a new design so that you have grip on the unpaved paths, but also comfort when walking on asphalt. The GORE-TEX upper is waterproof, keeps feet dry and offers effective protection. The Engineered Mesh upper feels lightweight, is made from at least 30% recycled materials and includes specific reinforcements for trail running. The renewed heel cap offers a lot of support for the ankle and ensures an easy entry. The CMEVA midsole has been made 2 mm thicker and therefore has more cushioning than its predecessor. This makes walking long distances more comfortable. The Challenger ATR 7 GTX is therefore very suitable for running long trail distances such as half and full marathons. The updated stud pattern has 4 mm studs that provide good grip when walking unpaved, whether you choose a soft or somewhat harder surface. Durability has also been improved, as more rubber has been added for endless mileage. Make the transition from the paved to the unpaved paths effortless.
