I purchased a couple of sizes to fit different spaces. This one was for the kitchen. I think in the full summer sun it will be great but so far the amount of illumination is not as bright as I would have liked. Despite this I think the illume products are fantastic.

I replaced a normal tube solar light with the illume. It is fantastic a total difference in the amount of light. I am now purchasing another for the other end of my house as I’m surrounded by large gum trees.
We got this to brighten up our hallway. Took my husband less than an hour to install and works great. Our cleaner kept flipping switches trying to turn it off. We are going to install another one in our bathroom.
Throws out heaps of light when it’s a sunny day and a nice light when cloudy. Replicates outside light extremely well. Easy install, wife’s wrapped with the purchase.
Skylight this size works fantastic, lights up the whole kitchen. Dero worth the money and effort.
This is the second Illume light I have installed in the house to light dark areas such as a hallway and the kitchen. No longer need lights turned on throughout the day .and no heat issues from sunlight exposure with solar tubes or large skylights.
Installed this in my kitchen and couldn’t believe how much lighter the room became. IT was quite a shock compared to how dark the room was beforehand. (I had to clean my kitchen afterwards because I could suddenly see!). It looks great too. Very sleek.
Love the product, we put 2 into a dark kitchen/dining and what a difference. It is more or less a solar powered light that looks like a sky light - amazingMy husband and myself were able to install - each one took a few hours, but if fiddling up on roof and on roof space … but all doable… just remember to take note of where your beams in room are and avoid.
