INCRA’s T-Rules offers unparalleled accuracy. With the addition of a fence you can now quickly and accurately mark anything from a work piece edge, as well as use the T-rule as an accurate layout square. Slide the fence along the work piece with 0.5mm mechanical pencil or scribe in place to use as a marking/mortice gauge too. The end has height marking slots 50mm high to expand its usefulness even more.

It is a well made item. The metal it is made of is much thicker than I expected.I believe it is durable and will last me forever. It provides very precise markingcapabilities. While I gave only 3 stars for value for money, I'm sure if I had chosen a competitor's version, I would need to replace it eventually.

For years I've used a steel rule for marking cuts as everything was 'near enough'.I've recently been converted to using festool power tools and got hooked on accuracy, these tools are simply superb, expensive I know but it's so easy to get very accurate results.I saw this Incra T-rule on one of Peter Parfitt's video's on YouTube, bought it and can honestly say it is EXCELLENT! I do however need to put my glasses on when using it, and you need a mechanical pencil with 0.5mm lead!!! A great addition to anyone's tool kit.

I have to say that this square is beautifully machined with a red anodised stock and a stainless-steel marking rule. The graduations are amazing, I am having trouble with leads snapping, but thats just me, I'm going to get some slightly harder ones, and I am sure things will improve. The square arrived sooner than I expected and I would certainly recommend Wood Workers Workshop.

I thought this was going to be very useful to me, but when I began to use it I realised i didn't need it.There's a lot of holes, you become disoriented looking for the one you need. The lead is so thin, it just wears down quick.Nicely made and for anyone who can use it without getting dizzy will love. For me though it's going in a drawer somewhere.
I had my eye on this product for a while as every one who has used one seems to like it. I'm no different, love it! it's convenient and accurate. Great for repeat marking. Just marked and cut 20 pieces of wood and this made it so quick! Perfect for the workshop. Not sure if I would take it on site though as it is very thin. It's robust enough for normal workshop use but it could potentially be kinked if treated badly.
Ive been using a 2mm engineering pencil with a regular rule until now. Its always felt a game of luck to get accurate cuts but this is a game changer for precision. The pencil that came with mine didnt seem to work but I ordered 3 Incra products, each with a pencil and the others worked fine
I have tue 12 in version and use it fr most of my fine work this 6 inch version is great for r everyday work.I have been woodworking for many years, and over those years my Tolerances have got finer. INcra rules are my go to measuring device. If you just buy one rule, start with this. If you stick with woodworking you will end up buying one anyway, save yourself the journey.God luck
This is not my go to measuring aid when marking out. Not sure why I didn’t invest in one before, but now having one in my workshop; it’s used all the time.Only slight disappointment is the thickness of the metal rule area. Would have preferred something a little more sturdy, but it doesn’t really detract from the tools performance.
I have memories of trying to divide one sixteenth of an inch into sixty-fourths using a sharp pencil and a squint! If only we'd had rules like this, then! There's nothing like a nice firm tactile reference point to give confidence in precision work - and these rules provide that in two ways: firstly, the fence on the end means it's easy to locate the rule at the end of the workpiece, and then the rows of precision holes mean that a 0.5mm mechanical pencil can be located precisely in the required place with sub-millimetre accuracy. Some have said that the rules feel very thin, but I'm not sure how that could be avoided - and in any case it shouldn't be a problem as long as they're stored carefully. I love them - and wish I'd had something like them decades ago!
Bought this to replace one that I have had for quite some time, which seems to be hiding somewhere after I had some visitors to my workshop. Hopefully the original will turn up and then I can have two great pieces of kit. It is a shame that the accompanying pencil only seems to be able to hold one lead. Glad I have a couple of 0.5mm Pentel GraphGear 1000 mechanical pencils, so not that bothered about it.
