Slower than I thought. I have since starting buying the Samsung enterprise SSDs and they are faster.
These are great Enterprise SSD's, mine is model D3-S4510 1TB, (960GB), 3D NAND TLC, with good headroom for PBW or TBW, (Total bytes written) a gauge of how long before an SSD wears out, yes, they do wear out. The size is a standard 2.5" drive. I compared these to Samsung, SanDisk, WD, and found these to be the best and most cost effective for my use in a Server as a RAID array. The 4k read is among the higher ratings, the 4k write is a little slower but in a server RAID environment it won't make a difference as I have a good buffer. And you can't beat Intel for quality.
This drive just slid in to the holder, but you have to get the cage that comes with the plug assembly. It is incredibly reliable, and is used by the defense dept. In lieu of the typical commercial disks, this one is rugged enough to use in a warship. It works best if you also purchase the swap caddy DSLRKIT 2.5" SSD to 3.5" SATA Hard Disk Drive HDD Adapter Caddy Tray CAGE Hot Swap Plug if you are going to put in in a 3.5" cage.
