I think it's the combination of Patchouli and Vetiver that gives me this 'earthy note' impression. After more wearing I can add that this Fraiche flanker is similar to the original but switches out herbs (namely rosemary and mint) for the florals. No yuzu this time but plenty of grapefruit. Nicely done! This is definitely a flanker worth owning for fans of the OG. Longevity is pretty good, over 8 hours with 4 hours of good projection, that is great for a fresh summer scent!

It has received quite a lot of compliments, and it’s especially good for casual wear. Yuzu is the main note. This is a lemon from Asian countries, and the smell is alluring and complex. I love how this sticks out, but there is traditional citrus accords underneath it. Amber and cinnamon make an appearance. Some say nutmeg is one of the notes, but years of wearing it, I just don’t catch that. There is a slight hit of cedar on dry down. I like how this quickly opens and mellows out, and the Yuzu is different in a good way. Some find it exotic, whereas I just like the smell. It’s outstanding for summer barbecues, or for when out and about at the community pool. During the summer I’ve put this on for dates. Intimate situations. The return for spray has been good. Yet this won’t work dressed up in a suit, although it’s safe for the office on casual Fridays. You may have to re-spray this as it lasts four to six hours. That is the main disappointment, and my guess in colder climates is even less. If it was noticed in fall or winter it would be a complete surprise. The atomizer needs quite a bit of force. There’s not a lot of liquid scent per spray either. Although I find this quirky, some may be quite annoyed. For ages this classic is for the mature male. Thirty five and up, as I highly doubt the Yuzu would be appealing to younger folks. On a plus note the price on this is really good. Large retailers often have it for sale, as do online stores. Sometimes you can get this size for around $50. True it’s only good during hot weather, but depending on where you reside, that could be an incredible value. It’s worth considering, and in my opinion it’s a good cologne.

Beautiful fragrance!

Another favorite of mine from this house! Such a gorgeous scent! This version of the Pour Homme line is much fresher than the original! The Bergamot, Rosemary and mint is such a fantastic combination! In the dry down the pink pepper and patchouli comes out to sine. Performance is pretty decent! I get 9 to 10 hrs on my skin! My husband and I were shopping a couple years ago and trying new fragrances and as soon as he caught a whiff of this on me he practically RAN for the checkout And I was right behind himI had been wearing Philosophy amazing Grace for years and I still love that and this has a very light crisp clean scent that you will probably enjoy if you too are a fan of Amazing Grace but it is more of a floral and Id say a bit more sophisticated and sexy. My mom wore very saturated almost syrupy scents and that is not what this is at all. I just learned tonight that it has Peony in it and I adore peonies so maybe that is part of it. I really think youll love it. We both do. I get stopped all the time by both men and women to ask what Im wearing. I do wish it lasted a bit longer as I saw another reviewer mention but I still have to give it 5 stars. I love it that much I also love that there is a refill available for the cute bottle at a really good price. And the rollon is fantastic for travel. The smells on the front end these are my impression I dont know the actual combinations are sparkling, fresh and perfectly balanced floral. The dry down is tough to pin down but hints of woodsy amber maybe but still holds the initial sparkling floral. If I had to sum it up in two words, I would go with elegantly feminine.Lastly, this is probably the least important factor but the bottle is beautiful. Issey Miyake L'Eau D'Issey Intense (M) 75Ml Eau De Toilette EDT Spray

All throughout highschool and college, DB Light Blue has been my signature scent. This past summer, I finally decided to branch out and try something new. After a lot of trialanderror, I realized I wanted a scent that was strong enough to have people notice throughout the entire day but not too strong to the point of being overpowering those nearby a headache. I wanted something that wasnt defined as only sweet, or only floral. I was in search for a complex feminine smell. LEau dIssey is everything that I wanted and some. It is a totally unique scent that I receive compliments on all day. It is feminine and fresh with light floral notes without being overpowering. Oneofakind and amazing I highly recommend.

Not what I was expecting

I think I might have gotten a bottle from a bad batch because the one I got doesn't smell the same as a previous one. Though, I'm pretty sure it's not fake/counterfeit perfume, but maybe it changed during storage or shipping. I did some research regarding perfumes changing due to change of temperature. Since it was shipped across the Atlantic maybe that was the reason.I've communicated this with the store, and they have been very sincere and service minded about. I chose to keep it, and I try to wear it as often as I can.

I think this fragrance deserves another mention! Not as ground breaking as the original was but it's still a solid fragrance! This definitely has the the original DNA but with a bit of a twist. It starts off fresh like the original with the Yuzu and citruses. Here's where the twist comes in! As it dries down it becomes dark and spicy with the nutmeg, cardamom and saffron with the nutmeg being more dominant. I don't get any cinnamon in this one. As it becomes close to my skin the incense, benzoin and amber become more noticeable with the papyrus and ambergris being more in the background. Performance is decent.
