Jim Beam is a standard. It's not my personal favorite, but I would never turn it away, either. The Beam distillery knows what it's doing. It always turns out a consistent product; buy a bottle of Beam and you can always be sure what you're getting. It might not be a new or delightful surprise, but it definitely won't be an upsetting surprise. You can't go wrong serving up standard Jim Beam bourbon.

This is really terrible stuff. The taste isn’t great but that would be fine if it were just being used for mixed drinks. The problem is that even one single shot of this and I feel wretched the next day. It’s so bad. I do not have a low alcohol tolerance, I’m not a heavy drinker, maybe one or two hard drinks once a week or wine with dinner on weekends, but should I ever want to, I can hold myself together on 6-7 cocktails and feel right as rain in the morning. Problem is, this stuff is basically battery acid and rubbing alcohol combined and will just destroy you. Avoid.

Jim Beam White Label, then this is a normal drink that does not pretend to be elitist, but also does not cause negative. This product is the best-selling bourbon brand in the world (data for 2015). Here it is necessary to make a small remark: of course, being the first in terms of sales is very honorable, but you understand that the first rows in terms of the quantity sold are a mass segment, and not a premium label. Hence we can assume that Jim Beam is a strong middle peasant, but not a player of the elite segment. Acquaintance with him this preliminary thesis fully confirms.A bottle of "square" shape, without designer's research, but quite pleasant to look at, on the table looks presentable.

5 Star for the price range
1 September 2020

For the price range I give it 5 stars but if it were twice the price I would roll Makers Mark. For $21 a handle (1.75l) you can’t beat it. It’s as good as stuff more expensive stuff but so are some other bourbons. Beam is consistent, smooth and tastes like a classic bourbon. Never understood why one would pay more for Jack Daniels when beam is less. Great for mixed drinks, good on the rocks and even decent served neat. Isn’t something thats gonna wow you but is a good daily drinker and respectable enough to order when out on the town. I keep one in my bar at all times.

A good bourbon experience
7 March 2022

This is a bourbon with the hints of char, oak, and some grain....... with a ,for lack of a better term, a roasted linger..... akin to almost burning the pecans in a good southern pecan pie. I like it straight or on the rocks for sipping before retiring for the evening. It is apparent this bourbon maintains an old and tested recipe.

BOURBON BLOOD, JIM! DANIEL'S DOESN'T KNOW JACK!
13 May 2023

I started drinking this in the 1970' when my Grandmother offered me one! She died at 102, in 2005, but had her last drink before my mom put her in a home in the 1990's, but I would "occasionally" sneak in those airline bottles! She was very smart and a Good shot with a rifle, picking off baby rattle Snakes in her Colorado Back yard! Loved her! R.I.P. Grams!

Beautifully smooth and light, with a real punch.

I always drink my whiskey straight, first time I've bought Jim Beam, but it won't be the last. I can just take a sip, close my eyes and breathe across open fields of corn - wonderful way to close off my day.

Great value
26 November 2021

Don't get this review wrong, I'm giving it 3/5 stars. Not every "ok" drink deserves 5 stars. Beam is a very good mixer and occasional sipper at a fantastic price. If value is what you are looking for, don't spend a penny more. Other than maybe Old Grand Dad, I don't know of a better whiskey near this price.

Hurrican Recipe
7 October 2018

I enjoy a punch like drink not seen in the recipe section. A delicious mix of Jim Beam: red Lambrusco wine, shaved ice, and a scoop of orange or lime Sherbert Ice Cream, all fluffed in a blender. The taste is out of this world. About the second one, you are feeling on top of the world, without the confusion of other mixed blends. Jim Beam blends well with anything one can dream up. However, surprise yourself and others by trying my favorite. My guests often brag on the refreshing taste. Rodney in Seattle.

I urge everyone to use JiM Beam.

I tried it for the first time last year, and ever since then, it has become one of my favorites. I adore how basic and plain it is, with enough of ice, and how the texture just melts in your tongue, leaving you with memories of the best taste ever.
