Jo Malone is not about layering. In fact, their philosophy and feature is in simple, pure fragrances. You will not find alchemy in a bottle - it says basil and neroli, which means that it is basil with neroli inside. All! It is this purity and predictability that I appreciate in Jo malone. The white musk declared in the base catches on an absolutely animal level. When tested in a boutique, the musk was phony and was clearly caught on a blotter, but I personally could not recognize it right away. I recommend Jo Malone Basil Neroli and give it 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 stars!

This perfume is exactly what I was looking for! I am very much into clean scents that are not overpowering. I also am a fan of most things with neroli. Neroli is the strongest scent of this perfume. The basil scent is understated. If you’re a fan of neroli, you cannot go wrong. This is a classic Jo Malone perfume that can be layered with other scents. It is a lighter scent, so it doesn’t have the greatest lasting power, but I’ve been wearing it for twelve hours and can still smell it on my wrist. When I run out of my smaller bottle, which I usually prefer to buy a couple of smaller bottles and layer them, I would likely purchase the bigger size. I love this perfume and I am so happy with my purchase!

Love, love, love this scent... received a small sample of Basil Neroli recently and loved it so much, I sprung for the full sized bottle. Does not disappoint..Also received gift with purchase, rollerball size Scarlet Poppy.. totally different fragrance notes but equally as delicious as the Basil Neroli. Hoping to try the entire Jo Malone feagrance line.
I got recommended by 2 friends to try this scent, so out of curiosity I bought one. My absolute favourite! The scent just instantly makes me feel good. The scent itself is both cool and warm, the whiff of neroli is summer ish but add basil and you get a fun chilled mix. Neroli scent is very natural in this mix, and it doesn't overwhelm my senses at all. I sometimes pair it with a spicy woody perfume and it still works well. Only cons is that it doesn't come in smaller size. I'm actually packing for a flight and it pains me to the core that I can't bring this along...
I've got at least 10 different Jo Malones and love them all. This is a great smelling perfume...to start...it does not last and I have to be honest and say that it has never happened to me before. I was so disappointed.I actually bough 2 of these as I was excited by the smell. After realising that it was lacking staying power I returned it. Shame as it could be beautiful.
Unique fresh perfume. I spray-tested it and came back 2 hours later to buy it and they didn’t had it on stock. So, I purchased it and requested to be shipped when available. Received it a few days later in a beautiful & elegant gift wrapped box. The perfect gift for me.
