This product is impeccable. Its packing is compact enough to bring along with you at all times - perfect when you need a touch-up throughout the day. The sponge comes with it is soft. Despite I washed it weekly, it did not go out of shape. Requires a few more pats on your face to distribute the powder evenly though. The powder is pretty fine compared to other similar products in my opinion. It is lightly scented and the rosy smell is lovely and relaxing - does not smell anything chemical. It has been a great staple of my make up routine - it makes my skin less oily and mattifies my look. I could see an obvious difference after using it as a finish since I got less breakout. It's good value as this size lasts me for roughly a year.

Best Powder Ever

I've been using this finishing powder for years and it is by far the best. Beautiful rose aroma, and makes my whole face look better and softer, whether over makeup or a-la-natural. My issue (and the reason for 3 stars) is, as others have stated, with the canister. The product is not easily distributed through the holes and I have to get my husband to pry it open so I can use all the product. It's frustrating that Jurlique seem unwilling to listen to their customers. It has been my experience that complaints/issues are explained away with a generic explanation and things stay the same, regardless of the number of people who express their disappointment.

HOW TO OPEN THE CASE

I can see there are still lots of frustrated users with the case so sharing my tip on how to open the case again. There is a narrow groove where the edge of the brown plastic meets the clear plastic all along the side of the jar. You need to use a small flat screwdriver with a thin edge to carefully pry open it using the groove as pivot. The edge of your screwdriver needs to be thin enough to be inserted into the groove. I have done this successfully many times now. Once open, you can use up all the powder without dealing with the pinholes.

Love the powder but wish it comes in eco refill.

I got one as a gift and found it better than the one I have been using for years from a Japanese cosmetic brand. I really liked the old one and I would think that suits my Asian skin more but the Jurlique finishing powder keeps me matte for longer. I don't find the rose scented powder too overwhelming, maybe just the first moments you put it on but it doesn't stay or linger. And I never had problems with the dispensing of the powder.The only reason I hesitated to purchase another one after I finishedmy gift was because of the packaging. It is not available in refill which is sad for me... The powder case is well made enough to be reused and such a waste to be thrown away everytime. Lovely translucent powder

Love this finishing powder. Really good especially if you have oily skin. It instantly mattifies skin and eliminates shine. Has a really nice rose scent too.

The Best

I love this powder. It sets foundation nicely. If you're adverse to smells, you may not like it. It has a lovely rose scent which dissipates quite quickly. I have a drawer full of powders, but always seem to reach of this one. As a matter of fact, I have 2 backups.

Very fine powder, but issues.

This is a lovely finely milled powder, which gives a soft veiled look to the face. It also has an elegant container with a mirror, and a better than average powder puff supplied. However, for those of us with allergy issues, the powder is very heavily rose scented which can cause problems for those who react to strong perfumes, and the powder can cause mild irritation to the skin, probably because it is scented. I had to stop using it, but wish there was an entirely unscented version available.

Wish I had discovered this earlier

I wish I had discovered this powder earlier. It’s amazingly light and fragrant and doesn’t make you look too matte. It’s great for older skin as it doesn’t clog or sot in your wrinkles. Looks as though you’re not even wearing a powder.

Worst packaging for such a great product!

I had to give 1 star because of the case. The powder is worth 5 stars but i will not be buying it again because of the package. There are other great powders out there. Like other reviews, the powder is so hard to get it out. I read someone say there's a grove between the brown and clear plastic. Not on mine. I doubt the company reads these reviews otherwise they would have done something about the packaging already seeing there's so many complaints. I will not be buying this again. It's too bad because it is an excellent product.

i was lucky enough to visit Jurlique farm on the 25th January and i am a Beauty Therapist of 44 years (I'm 60) I've honestly only used your Rose hand cream .I was excited to visit you as new products are my passion ,well let me say I'm addicted in this short time .The Herbal Recovery line is just lush ,my skin has never looked better .I don't know which serum is my favourite tbh but i have aged the most on my decolletage and wow the wrinkles are not so deep .To say I'm impressed is an understatement.
