First of all, I have gray hair. Lighter/whiter streaks in the front, and darker/salt/pepper in the back. The product does say NOT RECOMMENDED FOR GRAY HAIR!! ... welp, but I was looking for a rosy tint to add to my hair w/out the damage or permanence of a true dye. While the color did not come out as vivid as I had wanted, or as it shows on the bottle, I'm happy with the light rosy color that I get even with the 'not recommended' gray hair. It also leaves my hair soft, and the scent is pleasing; not too harsh. My usual routine is to use the conditioner for three days. I apply it on dry hair before a shower, wait for 20 minutes, then rinse with warm to hotter water (only because that's what I am showering with). My roots don't seem to get the color as much as the ends; not sure if that's the effect of my face scrub/soap.But, none-the-less, recommended for short-term uses as it washes off with the use of my regular tea tree shampoo on the fourth or fifth day.I did try the lighter pink version in hopes of getting a slightly more vibrant pink, but it's actually lighter than the rose gold. Will try the neon pink next to see if I can get to the more vibrant, albeit subtle, pink hues I want.

This product is amazing! I was told by my hairdresser to get the red one and use it on my highlights. I used it for the first time today WOW it really get my highlights back to the bright red. It looked just how it did when I left my salon bright and soft. I read a lot of reviews saying it left your hair dry nope it does not. If you are using color conditioner of any kind and it’s making your hair dry, then your hair was damaged and dry before using this product. Because I left the conditioner on my hair wrapped with plastic bag for 30mins. Rinsed it out with very cold water. Then put in a heat, protectant and blow dried my hair. My hair is soft and smooth not dry it all. I would highly recommend this product in the red for anyone who has red hair or red highlights. ... MoreThis product is amazing! I have already ordered three more to have shipped to me so I don’t run out.

Perfect red, amazing 🤩 First I dyed my virgin hair (medium/dark brown hair with slight red tone (only in the sunlight) and grey hairs) with Garnier Light Natural Copper (two boxes). Two weeks later it was completely dull, see first pic. Red fades FAST. So I thought I might try using a semi-permanent copper dye more often. Instead I found this product. I’m so glad I took a chance, the review pics weren’t totally convincing but people said “If you want copper this is the right product”, absolutely right.I put coconut oil around my hairline, ears (I would suggest putting it all over your neck like 3 inches from your hairline especially in the back lol). Applied this to dry hair, my hair is just above my ass so I needed almost the entire bottle, it’s thin hair and not a lot of it though. Waited 35 minutes, then rinsed, bending over so it didn’t spray all over cause man does this stuff stain plastic/paint quickly! So good tho! I ended up adding the remainder of the bottle to my roots though because my roots were still pretty brown, like dark Auburn. So I did that, washed out an area on the front part to see how it was doing after an hour, still too brown. Patted it dry and applied more product, waiting another hour before rinsing. Perfect. Maybe it’s because there’s more oil on your roots so it’s uneven/not enough time to dye the roots the same as the rest of your hair. It’s been about a week, I wash my hair with conditioner every day, and wash with shampoo every 2-3 days. Color still looks great, a little lighter but I still love the red.Tips and tricks;•’Use on dry hair.• Use on top of a box dye ect., as opposed to just this dye itself on virgin hair.• It’s stains EVERYTHING. So use coconut oil around your hair line, on your ears ect. Have plenty of rags & paper towels ready, but even if it’s on your wall/sink for 5 seconds it will stain it orange. So lay down a tarp and be careful lol.• Use gloves - this will stain your skin.• Dye your whole head, roots first, for 35 minutes. Rinse, dry hair, then apply to roots for 2 hours.• The heat from your head will not affect the dye process like box dyes• Pick one/two towel(s) that will be your hair towel, even after like 5 washes it still bleeds into the towel a little bit.• The lighter your hair the more bright it will be! My highlights are like…crazy bright in the sunlight, looks like legit fire. The rest is very natural and mild, like Julianne Moore.

I have naturally curly hair and wanted product that would add pigment without damage or a big mess. I had previously tried Manic Panic and it looked like a crime scene when I was done. My hair felt dry and I had several red stains on my walls, door, and shower curtain.I loved the color but never wanted to do that process again. I tried this out in Merlot and ended up with a beautiful deep rosy gold (my hair was previously lightened to a warm gold) after a few treatments. The color doesn't penetrate my new growth which doesn't bother me because my natural hair blends well into it.My hair has stayed soft with no damage to my curl pattern. If you don't want your hands to turn whatever color you'll be using or your manicure to change colors, use gloves. Thankfully for me the merlot color washed off with a couple rounds of soap and didn't leave any noticeable change to my skin. I've just finished my first bottle and got about 8 treatments of out it. I have thick porous curly hair so I had to use a out 5 pumps on each side to get good coverage. If your hair is thinner you'll probably get more uses. There will be color running down the drain when you wash but it's really not that much, unlike Manic Panic where it was bright red rinsing out of my hair for weeks. It only lost a star because the pigment isnt strong. It reminds me of what your hair looks like after a few washes after you color it something bold. It took a few treatments to achieve a good color and the remaining treatments were for maintenance.Still very impressive. Will probably order again.
I love this product! I’m using it on my lightened hair as I’m growing the dye out and I wanted something to blend out the regrowth (I’m naturally brunette with a scattering of greys and was dying my hair to a shade 9 blonde-no bleach). This product is great, really conditioning and smalls amazing. My only gripe is it’s not dark enough and needs to be used multiple times to get desired colour, and needs to be used regularly as it doesn’t last long in the hair. I will get the larger size next time. I didn’t want to get the darker expresso shade as I read too many reviews about it fading green on lightened hair, that’s why I chose the mocha. But I will continue to use it until my blonde hair has grown out. I no longer want to use hair dye in my hair. It has an ok ... MoreI love this product! I have this in Rose Gold. It's on the darker side for a rose gold, but very pretty. Please ignore the comments about hair falling out. This is just a color depositing conditioner and can not damage your hair. People having issues would've had damaged hair to begin with. It leaves my hair soft, gives a beautiful tint to my light brown hair, and a pretty vivid color on my blonde highlights. Great for maintaining your color or adding vibrancy. It smells great and you get a lot of product for the price.
Keep this stuff off of your scalp and you’ll be fine. It works great for adding a little extra color in between salon visits. I have medium-light brown hair and have used the copper one to bring out some nice red tones. The reason I only have two stars is because this stuff irritates the heck out of my scalp and will cause tons of hair loss for the week after using it. My hair isn’t thin so the risk is sometimes worth it, especially if it’s right before a special occasion and I need a quick touch up, but I would absolutely avoid at all costs if you are nervous about losing volume. The amount of hair that I lose after this comes into contact with my scalp is equal to about three months of regular shedding.
I've been using this color/conditioner for a couple years now, and its by far the best thing I've ever used for my hair. Keeping up with a pastel is always a challenge, but the clenditioner in the pastel pink color gives me the perfect shade I'm looking for!! It always makes my hair feel so soft and healthy, it smells amazing, and one of the best parts is that it doesn't really stain- so if you accidently get some on your shirt or carpet, it comes out pretty easy, just clean it as soon as possible.I usually let it sit for at least 30-40 minutes (but the longer you leave it in, the better), and I just use it about twice a month. The only downside is that this is really expensive, and since I have a lot of hair, the large bottle doesn't last me as long. If you have hair above your chest, one bottle should last you a lot longer though. I HIGHLY recommend for anyone wanting to keep their color but also keep the life in their hair!!
I just turned 45 and Ive always been a natural strawberry blonde. The last few years have me sprouting white strands of glitter. I don't like having to go and having a color applied every month or so and frankly, I can't afford that.Since my hair is a lighter red with blonde pigments this product was extremely easy to use and didn't require any bleaching. It covers enough of my glitter strands and help maintain my natural color.I apply it in the shower to wet hair making sure to saturate from roots to tips then I brush it through to help ensure even coverage. It does a decent job of washing oils and product out but I do use a regular shampoo and conditioner during the week. It will slightly stain nails and hands, especially around the cuticles** Also, be careful of your shower curtain. It will stain that too.I don't wash my hair everyday so the color lasts a good while. One bottle lasts me a long time and it's definitely worth the money to me.
I do love these Keracolor Clenditioners however I don’t love the expresso colour. It did make my ends go green! I used a toning conditioner to correct it. I much prefer the Mocha colour as it doesn’t go green. These Clenditioners are super conditioning and they make my hair look healthy. I’m growing so old hair dye out and these conditioners are tiding me over and hiding the regrowth. Quite good grey coverage too as I have some greys popping up. Will purchase Mocha again next time. Expresso is best used on hair that’s already brown. If you have lighter hair mocha is a better colour as it has no green undertones.
