Kingston’s Industrial Temperature microSD UHS-I has an operating temperature rating of -40°C to 85°C, making it suitable for harsh environments. Its high operating temperature rating means it stands up to extreme heat in the desert and in test and measurement situations where standard microSD cards may fail, while its low operating temperature rating allows for use in below freezing weather, where equipment may be left outside for extended periods of time. Its high insertion rating is ideal for applications in which the card will be frequently accessed and removed from host devices, and its MLC NAND allows for large amounts of data to be written to the card. Kingston tests these cards extensively during pre-production and new build qualifications. Cards must pass thermal cycle testing, with interval testing at various extreme temperatures; vigorous temperature humidity bias, comprised of several hundred hours of testing to ensure durability at different humidity levels; and wide temp chamber testing. In addition, these cards are tested to be waterproof, temperature proof, shock/vibration proof and X-ray proof. So you can rest assured your photos, videos and other important files will be protected. With UHS-I Speed Class U1 speeds up to 90MB/s read and 45MB/s write, the card is ideal for applications requiring greater bandwidth when recording large datasets. Higher sustained write speeds ensure data integrity by reducing transmission stutter, and the card also offers faster upload times when transferring files to a PC. The smallest available SD card, it is the standard expandable storage option for many GPS, tablets, smartphones and industrial devices and, with the included adapter, can be used in standard size SDHC/SDXC host devices.

DON'T EVER BUY FROM THIS SELLER!!! The microSD card is fake and defective. I tested the card with the h2testw program and it says the media is defective. I also tested the card by copying files to it and confirmed that only about 14GB of space out of 499GB can keep the files reliably. If more than 14GB, the files will simply disappear after a few minutes, that is scary.

We purchased an LG android phone a while back and had the hardest time trying to add some additional memory on our phone. We tried several brand memory cards and non of them worked properly. They kept crashing the system. Even our LG phone manual said that their are some memory cards that will not be compatible with LG phones.Decided to purchase this Kingston memory card and so far it works. No issues or crashes within the my LG K31 phone. We are writing this review in case anyone has any similar issues with their LG mobile phones. If your looking to add additional memory to your phone, this memory card works with LG phones. But please check your manual for GB specifications. Happy to have found this memory card at a reasonable price.

Never been too happy about using Kingston cards as they have a tendency to fail; as this one did, but it was the only one at my price point. Kingston do not like to be written to by different processes at once (they are quite flaky), so can only be used in simple applications. I wanted this for a CCTV camera. First time I used this one it was fine, when I tired to access it via a PC it seemed OK. Then accessed it via a mobile phone and the camera's app. This is when the card failed. It could be the app, but a Sandisk replacement has worked fine. After the failure there was only about 18GB available, and used in a phone that seemed stable, but I couldn't trust it with precious data so I destroyed it. I would not buy a Kingston card again if you gave it to me for 1p.

It is always the same when you are asked to review a product, you get asked generic questions that are nowhere related to the product. The first and third questions are pretty fair, I mean is it easy to use, well, you have to stick it in a hole the right way or it won't work but if you can't work that out then perhaps electronic equipment is not for you. Good value, yes it is, that is what drew me to it in the first place. The second question, is it well designed, well, if it wasn't it wouldn't fit that hole we spoke about earlier and besides if it wasn't micro-SDHC shaped it wouldn't fit the description either. Would I buy more if I needed them, most definitely? In the Review title section, it hints lightweight with great features, that's true if you like to look ... MoreIt is always the same when you are asked to review a product, you get asked generic questions that are nowhere related to the product. I purchased this to use with a Android TV Box because other unbranded SD cards are not up to scratch with the speed of them. I placed it into the box & it reported that this card was also not up to speed (Other branded cards work in the box). I should have realized when the packaging was not the same as the others that I have (No serial nos, No bar-code, No SDC Nos etc). I see that slomiuk2015 has changed the lower picture now (the one with the adapter & micro SD card- which IS actually the card you receive) & you will notice that on the original adapter (top picture) you have a country on it - NOT on the one you get. The original micro SD card (top picture) has all the details including a SDC no, registration no & country on it - you guessed it -yours wont! there's ... MoreI purchased this to use with a Android TV Box because other unbranded SD cards are not up to scratch with the speed of them. I tested the SD card using a program called SD-Insight (try it yourself) it reported that the card manufacturer was INVALID - stating that this was counterfeit. I don't mind paying 2 etc for a non branded card - BUT NO WAY would I pay near 7.00 for a card that I thought was genuine in a 'Auction'.
Got my Kingston MicroSD cards today and inserted them in my phones. I've transferred files to them and so far they all seem to be working. My Moto e5 shows 15.54gb free of 16gb, my LG Fiestas show 14.47gb free of 16gb, formatting uses some of the space. I've bought Kingston Canvas Select cards and those seem to be working fine after a few months continual use. These were less expensive at 3.99 (the Canvas Select were about $6). I can't vouch for durability since I just inserted these new cards but I bought 5 and none so far have failures. Most of my files are text only Google Drive docs under 200kb, but I create a lot of them. At the price, the Kingstons are definitely worth trying. Remember, never rely on only one storage source, always back up files. I have my ... MoreGot my Kingston MicroSD cards today and inserted them in my phones. The Kingston 16Gb Class 10 Memory Card Micro SD Card that came with a SD Adapter. I tested the Kingston 16Gb memory card with software to confirm the storage capacity, Read & Write Speed and performance. The Kingston 16Gb memory card passed all of the tests with a 100%. pass. The Kingston memory card range are manufactured to the highest quality for accuracy and reliability and so far have never let me down
Very highly recommend! - absolute bargain for the size and speed. Works a treat with the dash cam. Definitely would buy again in the future. A+++
