Bought it because it is relatively cheap, just like the other MIcro SD brand we usually buy. This one works great in storing files but the adapter is not the best. They're just like the same as other storage cards you can get from the same price range so if you are looking for cheap one this one is for you as you can buy in bulk in Amazon. Good for spare memory card.

Compatible for LG Android Phones

We purchased an LG android phone a while back and had the hardest time trying to add some additional memory on our phone. We tried several brand memory cards and non of them worked properly. They kept crashing the system. Even our LG phone manual said that their are some memory cards that will not be compatible with LG phones.Decided to purchase this Kingston memory card and so far it works. Data Balck Hole

Never been too happy about using Kingston cards as they have a tendency to fail; as this one did, but it was the only one at my price point. Kingston do not like to be written to by different processes at once (they are quite flaky), so can only be used in simple applications. I wanted this for a CCTV camera. First time I used this one it was fine, when I tired to access it via a PC it seemed OK. Then accessed it via a mobile phone and the camera's app. This is when the card failed. It could be the app, but a Sandisk replacement has worked fine. After the failure there was only about 18GB available, and used in a phone that seemed stable, but I couldn't trust it with precious data so I destroyed it. I would not buy a Kingston card again if you gave it to me for 1p.

The first and third questions are pretty fair, I mean is it easy to use, well, you have to stick it in a hole the right way or it won't work but if you can't work that out then perhaps electronic equipment is not for you. Good value, yes it is, that is what drew me to it in the first place. The second question, is it well designed, well, if it wasn't it wouldn't fit that hole we spoke about earlier and besides if it wasn't micro-SDHC shaped it wouldn't fit the description either. Forget about buying rubbish; just buy this

I received mine in 12 days in VA from seller 3CKINGSMAN (TW) so this review is for the version he sells. I was delighted that it is GENUINE. I tested it with H2TESTW and it was error-free. On my modern USB3 system it wrote at 17.6mBs and read at 35.6 (higher than the package claim of 30). If you choose to save money and buy a "bulk" or so-called retail card which is in a generic package, test it immediately. This is one area where the odds of getting a counterfeit or second are so high that you should just pay the reasonable amount for a name brand item in a retail package. GET THE SOFTWARE H2TESTW and test ALL your flash media before trusting it on a trip or in a security camera or phone. BTW, this is formatted FAT32.

Kingston 16GB Micro SD Chip Review

This chip was purchased to add memory capacity to a recently-purchased smart phone, so I could store more audio books for listening using the phone's MP3 function. I've not bought such a chip before. So, I did some on-line research. Many comments I read warned to stay away from the "no name" chips. Some brands were mentioned by name as being especially troublesome. The consensus was that 3 or 4 manufacturers were notable for making quality products. Kingston was among them and Wal-Mart had the best price. I ordered it on-line and picked it up at a nearby store about 10 days later. Unlike most items that arrive at the store in 1-3 days, this took quite a long time. That's my only complaint.
