Both the shampoo and conditioner have a fun mango scent that lightly remains after your hair has dried. The shampoo works into a very nice lather which I cannot catch on camera as my phone constantly kept falling from the shower rack and wet, naked old lady is not the content I feel like sharing (currently anyhow). The conditioner does a good job helping tame my weird frizzy patch of hair. Ultimately, both work nicely to deliver soft, shiny hair that is faintly mango scented, and my hair seems less brittle than it normally would be at this time of year.

Best shampoo I have bought in a long time!

I have always had problems with shampoos making my scalp itchy or causing more inflammation, but this shampoo has bothered my scalp at all! I have psoriasis and many shampoos from other stores have either irritated my scalp or they didn't seem to really clean my hair and remove all of the grease. Sometimes I use a prescribed scalp oil about every other week and this is the first shampoo that can remove all of the oil from my hair so it doesn't look greasy after the shower when my hair dries. I usually wash my hair 2-3 times after applying the oil and have never had a problem with greasy looking hair. Dried out my hair and made it fall out!

I bought three bottles of this shampoo and conditioner because I thought I would like the mango butter scent. At first, the shampoo worked fine. It lathers up well and has a light fragrance. I did notice it took longer to wash out the shampoos, but I didn't think anything of it. After about a month of use, I noticed that my hair start to fall out and clumps while I was shampooing. He said but at the hair follicles are blocked this will cause hair fallout. So I stopped using this shampoo and conditioner immediately. I bought the Acure clarifying shampoo at Ulta and it worked very well to detox and clarify my scalp. I switched to another shampoo with no silicones in it and that was gentle enough to use everyday if needed (Luseta Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo). What a difference! My hair stopped falling out in clumps, my scalp felt clain (like it could breathe again!) and it had great shine again.The only thing I've determined that made my hair fall out was my use of the Klorane Mango Butter Shampoo and Conditioner. I even wrote to Klorane and sent them pictures of my hair fall out, and they acknowledge receipt of my email but never replied back afterwards. Pretty suspicious, and they have since then repackaged and reformulated their product, but it's still looks like thick goo you cannot see through so it will still probably coat your hair and scalp and cause blockage.I do not recommend this shampoo and conditioner at all, but especially the shampoo because it is so thick and clogging and becomes very difficult to wash out. I mean you will spend 20 minutes trying to wash it out of your hair completely. If it takes this long to get the slick feel of the shampoo out of your hair, that's not good!

Great Smell, Ok Performance

The smell is wonderful so I was bummed about returning this. I appreciate the natural route, but this feels a little TOO natural, the consistency is thin and doesn't feel like it really works. I have thick/fine/straight hair that gets oily after 2+ days, this doesn't have a great lather, and felt a little straw-like when rinsing. I was pretty oily the next day. I wanted to love this, but I wasn't blown away. That being said, I'd still recommend it to friends with different hair types than mine.

I'm not too sure about this one.

For starters, the day I washed my hair with this shampoo it was great. It was smooth and soft but didn't feel too weighed down. The very next day, however, my scalp and hair felt so so greasy as if I hadn't washed my hair in days. Which makes me wonder if this shampoo is prone to build up in my hair if used multiple times during the week. Maybe it's just not what my hair and scalp needs and doesn't have anything to do with the formulation but I won't be repurchasing this.

Impressed so far

I began losing hair around the time I started experiencing perimenopausal symptoms, so I was looking for a shampoo that would promote hair growth and scalp health, and this shampoo has been working so well. My hair already looks fuller after a week, and I?ve just added another bottle to my next order. I have high hopes that this shampoo will bring my hair back to normal in no time. Highly recommend :)

My Mango Ritual for this summer

Just divine! My favorite, I love it too much. It has literally transformed my hair!It's softer, silkier and shinier. Nourished to perfection I am rediscovering the pleasure of detaching my long hair!It smells amazing and the texture is perfect. It does not make the hair greasy. Normally I wash my hair every two or three days, but now that I'm traveling abroad, I use it every night after the beach.Thank you Klorane!

Revived my hair

About my hair:I have fine, semi-thick hair that has a slight wave and holds a curl and soaks up moisture like nothing else. I tend to have drier ends and my scalp/roots get oily the second day.For the past few years I have struggled with breakage and some hair thinning from medications and health issues.That was until I discovered to mango line. I found that I need less shampoo than other brands with this. Then I follow with the mango conditioner. Also, other brands I used to have to use SOOOO much conditioner, I use maybe a littler more than a blackberry sized amount (I used to use a giant strawberry or more) and I have slightly longer than shoulder length. I finish with a TINY amount of the leave in cream.My hair is wavy, bouncy and healthy looking for 2-3 days doing this and as I said before, my hair is starting to get thicker again. No more gobs of hair coming out in the shower.If you are torn between this and the Cupuacu Butter line, I found this to be more hydrating. My hair was less frizzy. The Cupuacu left my hair very bouncy, but left my ends drier and my scalp was itchy and got itchier by the hour. It also smells like baby powder and the smell lingers.

Terrible new formula

I have been using this shampoo/conditioner for over a year. Ever since they changed the formula, this product is nothing what it once was. My hair is no longer soft and silky, it became more dry, frizzy and lifeless. The shampoo no longer lathers and it leaves your head feeling squeaky and stripped. Most importantly ITS BEEN MAKING MY HAIR FALL OUT ! I'm talking clumps, way more than average. Since I stopped using it I'm no longer losing that much hair. Save your money, there are way better products out there.

The new formula is bad

I've used this shampoo for 4+ years and LOVED it. It moisturized my long, fine hair without weighing it down, and the scent smelled just like fresh mango. Unfortunately, they changed the formula and it's NOTHING like the original. The new formula is not as moisturizing, it has a bad fake mango scent. I genuinely thought I'd received a counterfeit product at first. I suppose the new formula was a cost-saving measure, because it now feels like cheap shampoo. Needless to say, I've switched brands.
