Considering the high quality tool steel used in Knipex linesman pliers I would think they would perform better than lesser quality material linesman pliers from Channellock, but that is not the case. I’ve spent so much money on tools from Knipex and Klein only to have them upstaged by Channellock

Great balance and feel in the hand, solid hinge and perfect finish to the gripping surfaces and cutting edges.Worth the investment over cheaper options - and I've got through a lot of those.
Quality seems good and worthwhile buying a recognised brand
Nice feel and balance to these lineman's pliers. Great tool to have in your tool bag even if you don't do electrical work
I love these pliers, the only thing is that they have made the plastic a little thicker than my first pair I bought 15 years ago. I often work with live conductors and prefer these to linesman pliers.
I needed a new pair of pliers and after looking around these seemed like a good option. They are really nice to use and feel good in the hand. I haven't used them much yet so can't say anything about reliability. I have friends who use Knipex products and they recommended them to me.
Excellent quality, super strong. Would recommend to anyone.
