Apparently it's supposed to make your skin brighter, but I didn't feel much difference after finishing a bottle. The smell is quite strong too, and smells a bit like alcohol, so I'm kind of scared of applying it when my skin is sensitive. But other than that it's still quite refreshing and moisturizing.

Sekkisei Lotion is one of my favourite product. Very good product. After using it for a long time you will see the benefits. All the explanations about this product are true indeed. I use the medicated Sekkisei like a moisturizer and serum. I use this as a part of my 3 step. After using this I noticed a huge difference, my skin is now more hydrated, leaves a glow and overall a more healthy look for my skin. Plus it smells amazing, very nice and subtle.

If you have the disposable income you shouldget it, if not, there are other thing that are cheaper that would work just aswell.

Went on a trip to Japan for the first time and it was amazing! of course I stocked up on skin care products and sunscreen! This was one of the most talked about so I had to buy it. I used this for almost a month before I realized it was slowly destroying my skin. I have dry, aging skin and suddenly I have way more wrinkles and suddenly I actually had a few pimples....which I have not had in years......I realized it had a high alcohol content but was told it was common in Japanese skin care but it is a terrible ingredient for dry skin and has been know to break down skin barriers and damage skin cells. It took about 2 weeks to get my skin back after stopping. Not for me.

Love this product

It arrived well-packed and in perfect condition. Although this product is expensive, it lasts 4 months or so ( I use it twice a day) and it helps my mature skin (63 year old) stay soft and nice texture. I didn’t give 5 stars because it took longer than I expected.
