When I first opened it up I wasn't sure what to expect smell-wise, but it smells absolutely fantastic. Like a beautiful bouquet of flowers almost, but not in a granny kind of way. In a more fresh, clean kind of way in the best way possible if that makes any sense. The cream itself is a white, gel-cream that's the perfect consistency. I applied it to my skin and WOW! My skin has never ever felt this soft and smooth! It also immediately reduced the redness in my cheeks, which was amazing. It absorbed very quickly and wasn't tacky or greasy in the least bit. I can see why this cream is so crazy expensive! My skin is sensitive and the fragrance in this didn't bother it at all. It hydrated my naturally oily skin perfectly without making it greasy. I really have to admit, my skin looked absolutely glowing after using this. It contains the sea kelp-infused Miracle Broth, to soothe redness and replenish lost moisture. It also contains the brand's exclusive Lime Tea Extract, which is steeped in power antioxidant properties to neutralize free radicals, enabling the skin to focus on renewal and repair. This product delivers miraculous benefits. It's luxurious formula penetrates deeply to replenish moisture and strengthen your skin. Renewed and energized, skin looks youthfully radiant. Clinical testing has demonstrated a 70% immediate improvement in moisture and a 65% improvement in visible lift after 8 weeks of usage. I feel very privileged that I got to use this product, considering the smallest jar at Sephora is $190 and let's face it, that doesn't really fit most people's budget (I know not mine!). I really wish that I could continue to use this product, but once I run out I probably won't be able to afford another jar. I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts though, and keep on seeing what great results I get with this awesome product! If you can afford it, I definitely recommend trying it out for yourself! The sample size I received in my box is extremely generous - I only had to dip my finger in a few times to find adequate coverage for my entire face. I can easily get at least a week’s worth of use out of the remaining product. It has been 20 minutes since I first applied it and my skin is baby soft, almost velvety feeling. I have no idea what “Miracle Broth” is, but it surely lives up to its name as an ingredient in this cream. Algae Extract is the first ingredient in this formula. I used this on my chin/mouth area, which has been a problem area for me in terms of dryness. I am very impressed with the skin barrier renewing properties. This cream is expensive, but luckily a little goes a very long way. A good investment for your skin.

When I take a pea-size amount on my fingertips, the creamy softens and melts with the warmth of the fingers. The consistency of this cream is not thick nor thin. It's a very thick, luxurious cream that has Multi-Size Moisture Spheres Technology to help reverse the signs of aging. It's very lightly scented and it's a very pleasant smell. If you have sensitive skin, I think this cream will definitely work for you. I have sensitive, combo, acne-prone skin and I didn't break out using this cream. My skin texture looks more glowy with this cream and it looks healthier. I'm bummed I ran out because I really love this cream! It didn't make me feel greasy at all, but it gave me intense hydration. Crème De La Mer is almost like a balm and this is a softer textured cream. @lamer makes excellent skincare products and I've never tried anything from this brand that I didn't absolutely love! Cashmere blanket for skin!

This is potentially my favourite La Mer product - together with the intense eye balm - from the entire range. Its got a light creamy texture, it is super hydrating and leaves my skin feeling amazing, youthful and glowing. I am 45 years old, suffer from rosacea and dry skin, and this is one of my go to creams - especially in the winter. I have really seen the benefits of using this cream on two different occasions; a. when I go through a period of using acids and retinol; b. really cold weather. It is super expensive, but it is one of the very few creams that makes my skin feel so comfortable and beautiful. I love it and I usually try and purchase it when SpaceNK have discounts or offers.

First few ingredients are: petrolum jelly aka Vaseline, dimeticone, mineral oil, shea butter...This alone is probably 80% of the formulation while the rest is mostly ingredients that have little to no data for actual anti aging propeties. The formulation is actually pretty bad with no truly active ingredients. You can have better result with 50$ cream like First aid beauty,tatcha, drunk elephant and alot more then wasting a wopping 500$ on this. I tried it was dissapointed looked at the ingredients was boderline terrified that some people are willing to pay that much for shea butter and vaseline. Smooth, soft, and a gentle/minimal fragrance.

This is a nice and smooth cream. It glides on without effort or pulling. My previous & former favorite moisturizer (different brand) that I have used for years, suddenly added an overwhelming amount of parfum. I have spent time, this past year, trying to find a good cream without a lot of fragrance. This is the one! The fragrance is gentle/minimal and the cream glides on nicely. I ordered the smaller size "just in case", and found it useful for carry on/travel. I have reordered this. My compliments to La Mer for understanding that some of people don't wish to wash and moisturize in parfum, but rather have a clean and fresh result!

The only moisturizer that works!

I have combo skin, but leaning towards dry sometimes. most dry skin moisturizers feel too greasy and didnot absorb properly. Most oily skin moisturizers dont hydrate enough. Some will makes my face darker and red after application (Clinique moisture surge). As soon as i tried this (with a travel size at first), my skin was calm, just enough hydration. it absorbs quickly, a little goes a long the way. I used suggested application method by La Mer. I worked offshore sometimes and will always get sun burn.
