This doesn't quite beat Joah's Green Tea Micellar water, which is my all-time favorite micellar water, but this is still good. I don't know why it's necessary for it to have a scent, but at least it's not too strong. Overall, this is gentle and refreshing. But to be honest, it mostly feels like water. It doesn't suck and pick up dirt and sunscreen on the round cotton pad like a micellar water should, it feels like it just moves it around instead of mollifying it, and it's especially not that great at wiping away makeup completely. I still like it though, and since the Joah one is kind of hard to find and seems to only be available at CVS, this one is a great option for when Joah is not available/out of stock.

DO NOT USE ON YOUR EYES!!! I repeat do not use on your eyes to remove any makeup! “This no rinse micellar water” has fragrance and it burns even after washing it off and washing my face and throwing copious amounts of water on my eyes and using a tissue to dry my eyes they burn and are extremely red and irritated! This is not safe for your eyes! Please take out the fragrance there is no need for it! I love all their other products except this one.
This product is fantastic! I use it in the morning, saturating a cotton pad, wiping entire face, neck & chest, and then gently rinsing with cool water (it is better to remove cleanser residue afterward, despite this being "no rinse"), and it soothes and tames my sensitive, retinoid-treated skin. NOTE: For the reviewer who claimed it contains fragrance, this absolutely does NOT. But one needs to carefully read the label: only the "Ultra" for "Reactive Skin" is fragrance free (that being the one with the pink print on the bottle), while the other LP micellar waters DO contain fragrance. It's really important to check your bottle and ALSO read the complete ingredient list before purchasing.
This product does get rid of the makeup and cleanses the skin. However, in the ingredients, it lists fragrance. Fragrance is a broad term that could include toxic chemicals. There have been responses that it is a “mild scent”. If so, then please tell us what ingredients are in this fragrance instead of keeping it a secret because that is worry some if there are harmful chemicals in this product. It has been two years and people have been commenting about the fragrance, yet they have not done anything about it!
This is the first time using Micellar Cleansing Water, and I thought I would be safe using a sensitive formula from a reputable brand like La Roche-Posay. However, I was left EXTREMELY disappointed. The first time I used it to remove eye makeup, not only did the skin around my eyes burn, but so did my eyes. My eyes burned so bad that I could barely keep one of them open for about 45 minutes. Did some research and realized I may have used too much, fair. Used it again, and I will say my eyes didn't burn, but the skin around my eyes still did. And it didn't even remove all my eye makeup. So, I will be returning this today and finding something better.
I have rosacea so my skin is very sensitive and reactive. This was recommended to me by my pharmacist in France. I was hesitant to use it at first just because other micellar waters didn't work for me, but I'm so glad I did. I either use it on its own or as the first step of a double cleanse on days that I wear extra sunscreen and/or tinted moisturizer. When I use it on its own, I usually spritz my face with thermal water and pat dry, or give it a light rinse from the faucet. But I know people who don't rinse it off at all. Do whatever works best fo your skin type. In any case, it's amazing stuff. It cleans well and feels wonderful!

I do not like the very perfumed scent. It's not great at removing heavy or waterproof makeup. I also find the dispenser hole at the top also to be annoying - it always spills out more product than I intend. I guess that's ok since it will help me blow through this product quicker and I can just be done with it. Lots of waste though.Thought I might like it the same as, if not more than the trusty Bioderma Sensibio micellar water because I do use & love a few other products by this brand. But this micellar water is a miss.
