I’m quite oily in my Tzone so wanted something to help & not make that worse. It’s states it’s anti shine & I do feel it helped with that as once applied, it was quite matte. I really like it! I’ve been wearing this every single day as part of my AM routine & it’s now become second nature to me. I apply it after skincare & before makeup but I do make sure it sinks in before applying anything on top. I use 2 pumps & apply it to my face & neck. It doesn’t go on easily as it heavy in texture but that’s because it’s a mineral sunscreen but I don’t find it leaves a white cast as most of them do. It also doesn’t sting me eyes!

I love this sun screen! For a factor 50 it js surprisingly lightweight. It smooths onto the skin very nicely and leave a matte, soft to the touch finish. I actually find this also has a skin-blurring effect also (better than my primer anyway!!). I wore this without makeup or anything else on my skin and found it to also be surprisingly sweat proof! My skin can be very oily but with the matte finish I didn’t have the usual ‘forehead shine’ at all. For me and my skin I found this to be an amazing sun screen. However, j found that there was some white cast which may make the product not desirable for our darker skinned sisters. The white cast was more on the mild side and did seem to go once fully rubbed in and absorbed. But I would urge those with a darker skin tone ... MoreI love this sun screen! I was hoping because of my very oily skin that this sunscreen would be right for me. Unfortunately, you can not wear the cream under makeup, because it flakes off as soon as another product touches the skin. Even if I just run my finger over the skin once, the cream comes off. It's hard to apply because it absorbs too quickly and it's hard to spread it evenly without rubbing it off again. After applying, my skin feels irritated and very dry. Additionally, it feels like I'm wearing a mask, or a thick layer of foundation. Am disappointed with the product.

I've been using this Anthelios Anti-shine gel-cream SPF50+ for over a month now and it is amazing. The texture is nice and creamy and it absorbs pretty quickly leaving the skin feeling mattified . This product is perfect for me as my skin can be quite oily so this is a great way to keep it looking beautiful while it being protected from the sun. This sunscreen is a great base for my make-up and thanks to the mattifying effect my make-up doesn't slide off my face . This sunscreen is very water resistant, doesn't leave white marks and it's suitable for sensitive skin. It is not oily or sticky when applied and It is non-perfumed too.
I had an opportunity to test this product amazing Anthelios anti shine cream as a member of La Roche Posay. I have been using this cream for several weeks, always in the morning about 30 minutes before going outside, but also during the day after exercise or swimming. Positive features of this product: Ergonomic and easy to use packaging, Very light formula absorbs quickly into the skin, Light and very pleasant smell, I have an oily skin type and this cream keeps the skin matte, The cream provides high protection 50+SPF, helps prevent for enlarged pores & breakouts before/after sun exposure Water resistant Passed an exam for my skin type. What is more it did not cause any allergic reactions or redness. Highly recommended, definitely I ll buy another one

Also why are we still using octocrylene in 2020 for god's sake? Octocrylene is one of those UV filters that have the highest potential to sting, burn and irritate skin... With so many choices for great modern UV filters in Europe, why do we need to use octocrylene? Why can't we make all modern UV filters sunscreens? The UV filters in this sunscreen are Homosalate, octocrylene, octisalate, Avobenzone, Uvinul T 150, Tinosorb S Lite Aqua, Meoxryl XL and titanium dioxide which seems to be at a concentration of less than 1% so I doubt it is being used as a UV filter. Homosalate is a very weak UVB filter, it is mostly used to help dissolve other UV filters which is probably why it is the second ingredient in this formula. But seriously L'Oreal why Octocrylene?! D: You already have a good selection of UVB filters, Uvinul T150 and tinosrb S plus the mexoryl XL are more than enough to provide reliable UVB protection, no need for octocrylene and octisalate, you could have used the gentler more modern UVA filter Uvinul A Plus instead of avobenzone. I have oily acne prone skin but I wouldn't recommend this cause of the white cast and because it pills as well as because of octocrylene, if they reformulate it then I might reconsider it. I would want an all modern UV filter sunscreen that doesn't leave a white cast and doesn't pill, this might also be drying for some people, if you wanna use it be sure to exfoliate your skin, it will highlight any dead skin cells and dry patches it will also gather in your under eye wrinkles
Sun cream for me is the most important step in my skincare routine particularly as I use retinol, Vitamin c and acids all of which make the skin very sensitive to the sun. This sun cream has a lightweight texture making it easy to apply to the skin without leaving it feeling sticky or greasy. It has a more moisturising effect to the skin which was pleasantly surprising and at times I felt I could easily skip my moisturiser and go straight into this after applying my other products. When wearing makeup, I find I don’t really need to use a primer as this spf is moisturising enough to act like one. The fact there is no shine or white caste is a big bonus for me particularly as I have oily skin as this has really helped prevent my skin looking so oily. Highly recommend.
For a long time I was looking for a high sun protection for the face with very sensitive, impure combination skin and tried other expensive brands with a similar product. This one here is simply ideal, it has a matt finish and is long-lasting, even in extreme conditions in midsummer or when doing outdoor sports. It smells subtle and is not too brown, which means you don't look too tanned or mask-like. It really sinks in completely. So great for light, sensitive combination skin that absolutely needs to be protected from UV rays. Anti-Shine is absolutely great.
Purchased on sale a few weeks ago. My go to LPR sunscreen is the Anthelios UVMUNE 400 at 50+ SPF - a holy grail. It is silky smooth! I couldn’t find this in store, so I bought the anti-shine and balance one on sale instead. It was one of the worst SPF’s I’ve ever purchased: The product dries too quickly, making it difficult to spread out. This causes it to pull e v e r y w h e r e. Causing ridiculous white peelings. So please don’t layer this with expensive products or use in the morning because it is inevitable that it will pill. It also leaves an offensive looking white cast all over my face. Not flattering at all. I am therefore, very disappointed in this product and do not recommend.
